The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) could face a case of bad timing. Y&R fans know Chance recently asked Sharon out to dinner, so she accepted the offer and will go on a first date with him soon.
Whether Sharon and Chance actually label it that way or not, it’s clear that’s what Chance had in mind.
Chance seems ready to move on from Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway), especially now that she’s moving in with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
Of course, the move-in situation could lead to that bad timing we mentioned.
Abby is looking forward to building a home with Devon and Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) at the penthouse, so that news is certainly cause for celebration.
Devon will deliver an invitation to Abby during the week of April 10-14, so maybe he’ll invite her out for a celebratory dinner.
Perhaps Dom will fall asleep under the nanny’s care while Abby and Devon head to Society.
Naturally, Society seems like the logical place for Chance to wine and dine Sharon.
It’s easy to see how this could lead to some awkwardness if Devon and Abby arrive to find Chance’s date with Sharon in progress.
Abby and Devon will have a couple options if this scenario plays out.
It’s possible Devon and Abby will dodge Sharon and Chance’s table after they all do some uncomfortable staring.
However, Abby and Devon might feel like that’s rather rude under the circumstances.
Chance is still one of Dominic’s fathers and should probably be acknowledged, so Devon and Abby might stop by his table with Sharon briefly.
Regardless, this is the kind of thing that could ruin the mood for Chance and Sharon’s date night as well as Abby and Devon’s celebration.
Things could take an awkward turn for all parties involved.
On the bright side, Sharon always seems to know the right thing to say and may snap Chance out of his funk.
Likewise, Abby and Devon may bounce back as they return to their blissful home bubble later, so they could still end the night on a positive note.
