The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will keep trying to lift Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) spirits during the week of July 31-August 4. Chance can tell that Summer’s having a hard time with the end of her marriage, so he’s always glad to offer a pep talk.
It turns out Chance’s next attempt to put a smile on Summer’s face will happen at the park. Chance will prove successful when he gets Summer laughing over something and shares a warm moment with her.
All this will go down as Summer and Chance sit on a picnic blanket together, but things may not be quite as they seem.
It’s possible Chance will arrange this picnic for Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and ask Summer to join him while he waits for Sharon to wrap up some work.
The offer could be innocent enough, but Sharon could still raise an eyebrow when she comes along and finds Summer filling in for her next to Chance!
Y&R spoilers say Sharon will indeed come along to witness Chance and Summer’s connection, so Chance may have some explaining to do.
Of course, Sharon may acknowledge that she’s not exclusive with Chance.
It’s not like Chance and Sharon have agreed to anything official, so Sharon may insist it’s fine if he wants to have picnics or anything else with other women.
That said, Sharon might also want Chance to be honest about his bond with Summer and whether something more than friendly is going on between them.
Sharon has been part of too many love triangles at this point in her life, so she might want to bow out now if that’s what she’s signing up for.
However, Chance may promise Sharon that she’s the one he’s interested in building a future with.
It could lead to a conversation about Sharon and Chance becoming official after all.
Then again, Sharon might just dance around the issue and fish for information.
It all depends on how Sharon wants to approach this, but she’ll definitely pick up on a vibe and most likely put Chance through a pop quiz.
