The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that this whole situation with Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) is already pulling Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) closer. Nick has definitely stepped up to support Sharon, so they’ve been holding hands and connecting on a deeper level.
Of course, Nick is also keeping secrets from Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) when it comes to this Cameron fiasco.
Although we get why Nick wouldn’t want to stress Sally out – especially with her at risk for preeclampsia – he may be making a massive mistake.
For starters, Cameron has already interacted with Sally and could do it again soon.
Sally has no idea the seemingly helpful man from the park is a sadistic predator who’s targeting people close to Sharon as well as Nick.
However, Nick keeping any secret with his ex could prove troubling to Sally.
Once Sally eventually gets updates on all this drama anyway, she’s going to feel like an outsider in Nick and Sharon’s story.
Nick will understandably have to keep devoting a great deal of time and attention to Sharon when she needs him most.
Between the stress and all the close moments, Y&R may be gearing up for some “Shick” temptation.
It’s easy to imagine Sharon and Nick getting swept up in a forbidden kiss while dealing with this mutual threat.
Nick and Sharon might try to tell themselves that it meant nothing, but their history is too powerful for them to ignore.
In other words, this stressful ordeal with Cameron could stir up some old feelings for Sharon and Nick.
Maybe some passion will reignite and leave Nick struggling to keep his mind on Sally instead.
Likewise, Sharon has been getting to know Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and may not want to blow up that romance either, but classic “Shick” feelings could grow stronger.
If Nick and Sharon do get caught up in the moment and surrender to a kiss, they may gain yet another secret to keep.
