The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will spot a close moment that catches her off guard. Y&R fans know Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) has come to rely on Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) as a friend, but Sharon may soon see the potential for more.
During the week of September 11-15, Sharon will stumble across Summer and Chance looking too close for comfort.
That may be the result of Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) matchmaking since she’ll interfere in Summer’s love life again soon.
It’s possible Phyllis will send Summer in Chance’s direction if she thinks they’d make a good couple.
Then again, Phyllis might try and fail to make Summer’s reunion with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) happen.
That could still set up this close moment with Chance if Summer needs someone to lean on in the aftermath.
Regardless, Chance isn’t Sharon’s official boyfriend yet, so he’s technically free to flirt with Summer and get as close as he wants.
However, Chance had better be sure it’s worth the risk! Sharon obviously isn’t new to relationships and the pain of cheating, so she might get off this train before it ever leaves the station!
Y&R spoilers say Sharon will definitely notice the flying sparks that are happening in front of her.
Chance may be falling for Summer right before Sharon’s eyes, so she’ll have to decide how to handle this.
Of course, it’s possible Sharon will fight for Chance, but she could also bow out if she doesn’t want to waste time competing for Chance’s affections.
It’s also possible Sharon will choose to be honest and ask Chance to do the same.
Sharon might call Chance out on the growing bond she’s seeing whenever he’s around Summer.
It could lead to questions about whether Chance has more than friendly feelings for Summer.
If Chance admits his connection to Summer feels more than platonic, Sharon might eventually urge him to pursue a romance with Summer instead.
No matter how all this plays out, Summer will indeed have an opportunity to chase the man she wants and potentially lock in her own future with Chance down the road.
