The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) could get caught roaming around Genoa City. Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will keep her mom’s secret, but that doesn’t mean the next person who potentially spies Phyllis alive will.
Y&R fans have been begging for Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) to get a real storyline, so this would be an excellent opportunity to include her.
Sharon usually doesn’t get to do more than serve up coffee and advice, so there are good reasons to plop her in the middle of this hot plot.
That’s especially true since Sharon and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) are growing closer.
Chance is interested in Sharon romantically and trusts her enough to talk about his work.
Sharon was the one who noticed Phyllis’ mask on the floor of the jazz lounge – and that mask became part of the evidence that was gathered against Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) since it had poison in it.
The show has connected Sharon to this case since she’s always curious about Chance’s progress.
Plus, Sharon has been in the center of the action during some recent coffeehouse confrontations.
Of course, Sharon also has a complex relationship with Phyllis since they used to be such fierce rivals.
The idea of Sharon being the one to spot Phyllis and possibly expose her faked death scheme sounds exciting!
Chance would certainly appreciate the help since this case has really stumped him.
Although Chane is trying to follow the evidence, he knows there’s a good chance that more is going on here.
Sharon could easily see Phyllis for herself at some point and threaten to rat her out.
That might give Phyllis an opportunity to plead her case and beg for Sharon’s silence.
If Sharon decided to keep her mouth shut for whatever reason, that might be an intriguing way to take the story, too.
Sharon would definitely complicate her new romance with Chance if she hid the truth.
However, it’d make more sense for Sharon to spill the beans and blow this case wide open!
Will Sharon end up being the secret weapon Chance needs to solve this Phyllis mystery? Will Sharon get updates on Phyllis’ survival and share the news with the GCPD?
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will remain tied to the investigation through Chance, so we’ll see if she might find out Phyllis is alive and become even more tangled up in this mess.
