The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) seems ready to take some big steps forward with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). Chance was Faith Newman’s (Reylynn Caster) hero after Cameron Kirsten’s (Linden Ashby) last stand, so that certainly affected Sharon’s feelings toward him.
Sharon thanked Chance with a warm embrace in the aftermath, so that felt like a turning point.
It was a visible representation of Sharon growing closer to a man who’s shown interest in her, so she may want to move things along in their romance soon.
Sharon could go on more dates with Chance and kiss him as things progress.
Chance might also get an invitation into Sharon’s bed at some point, but there’s at least one person on canvas who could throw off the plan.
During the week of June 26-30, Chance will notice that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) seems sad and lonely on the Crimson Lights patio.
That’ll lead to Chance offering comfort when Summer needs it most.
Summer is obviously dealing with major marriage turmoil due to her decision to lie to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and let Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) suffer.
Once Kyle decides he wants Summer to move out, she’ll open up to Chance about the separation and her fear that this will turn into a divorce.
Of course, we also know Kyle’s on the verge of sleeping with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), so that’ll be another way for “Skyle” to crumble.
This could set the stage for Summer and Sharon to have a rather awkward rivalry over Chance.
It’ll be all kinds of weird if Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) daughter and ex-wife both end up vying for Chance’s affection.
At this point in her life, Sharon may not be keen on fighting over any man.
It’s possible Sharon will bow out and have some self-respect – leaving the door open for Summer to have Chance if she eventually wants him.
Then again, Sharon had been sleepwalking through life ever since Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) passed away unexpectedly.
It wasn’t until all the Cameron chaos that Sharon admitted to feeling awake, activated and alive again.
With that in mind, Sharon might decide to fight for what she wants, even if that means signing up for some Y&R love triangle drama and facing any bad news that erupts.
