The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) has a very special episode coming up on Friday, January 5. In a new interview with SOD, Sharon Case admitted she was surprised to open this script and see her name on every page.
That’s because Y&R’s giving Sharon a standalone episode that’ll affect her future in a big way.
Since Sharon will be feeling rather overwhelmed by all the uncertainty in her life, her mind will try to help her work things out in a wild dream.
At the moment, Sharon is trying to juggle Crimson Lights, her new company and a romance with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) that’s complicated by Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).
With all that on Sharon’s plate, it’s easy to see why she might have a dream that’s a little on the crazy side.
Sharon’s past will play a factor in shaping some future possibilities and leave her wondering what’s next.
Although Case couldn’t reveal too many details, she said they did some outrageous scenarios that “you would never imagine in a million years…just some really fun, off-the-wall stuff.”
Case also mentioned that she’s in every scene and revealed that the ambitious episode two took days to film.
It was a real challenge, but Case loved the opportunity to do something outside the box.
Case had another standalone episode back in 2020 when Sharon was facing a cancer crisis, but the stakes aren’t quite as high this time around.
Even so, Sharon is entering a new phase of her life, so she could use some guidance to make the right choices.
It sounds like Sharon might imagine putting her focus on different things and perhaps consider different romantic partners as well.
Maybe Sharon will contemplate what life would be like if she married Chance and then consider what it’d be like if he ended up with Summer instead.
Of course, this won’t be Sharon’s reality, so the show can invent some strange shockers that might fit in those vignettes as she fantasizes.
There’ll be some exciting news and stunning setbacks as Sharon tries to make sense of this dream world.
Sharon will have to make choices regarding her career path too, so she’ll dream up some bizarre options and then wake up to some real ones.
