The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will get a mysterious call that summons her to Chancellor Park. Summer will proceed with caution, but she’ll definitely be curious after this anonymous caller reaches out.
Of course, that anonymous caller will turn out to be Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), who’ll reveal she’s alive and leave Summer overwhelmed with relief.
After Summer embraces Phyllis and processes what’s happening, she’ll immediately suggest calling Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei).
Summer will want to share the good news with her brother and invite Daniel over so he can join the family reunion.
Unfortunately, Phyllis will shut down the idea and warn Summer that her survival has to stay between them.
Summer won’t understand what’s going on, so Phyllis will make a shocking confession that involves all the Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) drama.
Naturally, there’s no way of knowing how accurate that confession will be just yet.
Phyllis could try to spin things in her favor and adjust the details to make her story a bit more palatable.
Regardless, it looks like Summer will find out Jeremy tried to murder Phyllis before she turned the scissors on him instead.
Phyllis killed Jeremy in self-defense, but she may worry it’s not going to seem that way to the cops.
Y&R spoilers say Summer will realize things are quite serious and will get why Phyllis is swearing her to secrecy.
With that in mind, Summer will agree to keep Phyllis’ return under wraps, but that’ll mean lying to the people who matter most to her.
It’s awfully cruel for Phyllis to reveal her survival to her daughter and not to her son.
Daniel may wind up heartbroken down the road when he realizes Phyllis and Summer chose to let him suffer.
Then again, maybe Summer and Phyllis will bring Daniel in the loop once they form a plan of some sort.
It could be a situation where Phyllis just wants to delay Daniel’s updates until after they strategize.
However, Summer will also keep Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) in the dark on Phyllis showing back up alive.
Since Phyllis’ survival could help clear Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) name, the fact that Summer will lie to Kyle about this is a huge deal.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer will feel guilty about deceiving her husband, but she’ll decide to be loyal to Phyllis over Kyle in the end.
