The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) could make some big changes thanks to some shocking revelations. Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is playing with fire since she’s working multiple betrayal angles at this point.
For starters, Audra and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) have secretly been putting their heads together.
Nate has an alliance with Audra, so they’re trying to help each other accomplish all their professional goals.
Now that Nate is filling in for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) as Newman Enterprises’ interim COO, that means Audra can step up as the temporary CEO of Newman Media.
Of course, Audra would love for that position to become permanent, but it’s doubtful that she’ll get her wish.
Victor has already witnessed Audra and Nate looking like schemers at Society, so he’s suspicious of what they’re up to.
One wrong move could prove disastrous for both Nate and Audra, so a catastrophe could easily be looming.
However, Audra also made the mistake of sleeping with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), who happens to be Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) husband.
Summer and Kyle are dealing with some issues in their marriage right now, but that doesn’t mean Victor will approve of Audra helping Kyle cheat.
Audra knows Kyle is married to Victor’s granddaughter, but she’s underestimating how strong that bond is.
When someone causes Summer pain, Y&R fans know Victor isn’t afraid to strike back.
Once Summer finds out the cheating news, she’ll hate Audra’s guts.
It could lead to Victor firing Audra since he has the authority to go over Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) head if need be.
That’s especially true since Audra already put Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) through a relationship nightmare.
Audra’s decision to swoop in and take Summer’s man to bed surely won’t go over well with Grandpa Victor.
Since Summer will also be furious and devastated over Kyle’s actions, she could easily resign from Marchetti.
Summer probably won’t want to see Kyle’s face every day if this separation continues for a while or even becomes a divorce.
If there’s one thing we know about Victor, it’s that there’s always a seat at the table for any Newman who wants to join the family business.
Victor would love to have Summer in the Newman family fold.
With that in mind, it’d be poetic justice for Summer to steal Audra’s dream job! Summer may not have the right experience to take over Newman Media, but neither did Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) or even Nate for that matter.
There’s no reason why Summer shouldn’t get a chance at the Newman Media throne, especially since it’d be the ultimate revenge.
Audra took Kyle to bed, so Summer deserves to rip away the position that Audra so desperately wants.
Whether Nate remains in the Newman Enterprises COO role or gets fired for his own shady behavior, that could leave the Newman Media CEO seat vacant once Audra’s out.
Summer might slide right in and make Victor one proud grandfather down the road.
