The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) is desperate to fix her marriage, but Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) isn’t budging so far. In fact, Kyle already landed in bed with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and has secretly been sending her fancy gifts.
Of course, Kyle is just hurt and angry right now. We’re seeing Kyle revert to the bad boy version of himself who used to party all the time and felt carefree.
It’s easier for Kyle to let loose than try to repair his broken marriage, so he’s choosing to have fun with Audra. However, there’ll inevitably be a turning point where things aren’t so fun anymore!
There have been some rumblings about a potential car accident for Summer that could change everything. Although there’s no confirmation yet, it’s an option worth considering since it’d fit with the story Y&R’s telling.
Kyle needs a reminder of how much he has to lose – something that could really rock his world and help him understand the ache of a world without Summer.
If Summer is involved in a car crash or some other type of accident, it could leave Kyle reeling and make him realize just how much he still adores her.
It’s easy to imagine Summer finding out about Kyle’s betrayal with Audra, speeding off and crashing in her despair.
That might even give Summer an opportunity to wake up with some memory loss and forget Kyle cheated – at least for a while!
Then again, Summer’s potential accident might happen before she ever learns the truth about Kyle and Audra.
In that case, Kyle might be desperate to keep what happened with Audra under wraps in the crash aftermath.
Maybe Kyle will realize Summer is the only woman he wants and beg her to pull through so they can get their marriage back on track.
That’d still leave the door open on some betrayal drama since Summer would inevitably find out about Kyle and Audra’s connection anyway.
It’s worth mentioning that Y&R recently had the hospital set up for Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) baby loss storyline, so they might as well get a little more use out of it.
Will Summer’s life hang in the balance after a car accident strikes? Could Kyle get updates on some terrible news that prompts a change of heart?
