The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) has been struggling to let go of Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and the future they were supposed to have, but she’ll make more progress soon.
Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) recently offered some great words of wisdom and helped Summer see that she had to grieve the relationship.
However, Chance certainly has hope for Summer’s new beginning and will continue to be there for her.
Although Summer remains disappointed over losing Kyle, she knows he’s not interested in reconciliation.
At this point, Summer doesn’t think she could get past what happened between Kyle and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) anyway, so her view of the situation is starting to shift.
Now Summer has decided that she should move on like Kyle, so it may not be long until she reenters the dating pool.
Chance is already pursuing a romance with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), but Summer might tell herself there are plenty of fish in the sea.
During the week of August 7-11, Chance might echo that idea since he’ll help Summer look forward to a new chapter.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer will get more guidance about her fresh start and all the wonderful possibilities it could bring.
This could all add up to Summer getting on a dating app or even one meant to score some simple hookups.
Perhaps Summer will decide to swipe on a few matches and meet up with some eligible bachelors.
Of course, Y&R fans can tell Summer isn’t ready for that deep down, so a plan like this could bring more heartbreak.
Although Summer will try to move on like Kyle, she’s obviously more emotional over the end of their marriage than he is.
Summer might wind up in tears if she tries dating again too soon – and that could lead to her seeking comfort in Chance’s arms.
It’s one thing for Summer to put on an act and try to hook up with strangers.
It’s quite another to feel drawn to Chance, who’s been a good friend and a steady source of support throughout Summer’s rough patch.
