The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) could take matters into her own hands when it comes to the dilemma Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is facing.
Phyllis pushed for Summer’s silence – at least until she can figure out a way out of the mess she’s created.
However, Summer may not be willing to wait around while Phyllis brainstorms.
The longer Phyllis pretends to be dead, the longer Summer has to lie to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and plenty of other people in Genoa City.
With that in mind, perhaps Summer will seek her own solution instead.
There’s one person Summer can always count on when she’s got a problem and needs it resolved by any means necessary.
Of course, we’re talking about the great and powerful Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)!
Victor adores his granddaughter, so he’d do just about anything Summer asks of him.
Maybe Summer could turn to Victor for help and deliver a heartfelt plea.
Summer might confess to facing a major crisis that only Victor can fix and get him to promise he’ll keep this quiet no matter what.
This might be a good time for Summer to remind Victor of when he faked his death to teach Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) a lesson and left Summer in the dark.
Summer was devastated until the truth came out about Victor being alive.
It’s not like Victor can judge Phyllis too harshly since he did a version of the same thing just a few years ago.
Plus, Victor knows how crushed Summer has been over Phyllis’ “death” and how crushed she’d be if this situation resulted in her mom’s prison stint.
Summer may put the blame on Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), who was a menace in Victor’s eyes anyway.
Victor might decide to help Phyllis for Summer’s sake and come up with some elaborate plan to make sure Phyllis comes out of all this unscathed.
If anyone can get Phyllis out of this jam, Y&R fans know it’s Victor!
Phyllis will never be Victor’s favorite person, but he loves Summer and might take drastic action for her.
