The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will struggle to let go of Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), but maybe there’s a way to help the process along. Kyle has moved on with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), but it hasn’t been as easy for Summer to do the same.
However, Summer might be surprised if someone other than her husband pops up in her dreams. This would be a great opportunity to put Summer’s subconscious desires in the driver’s seat.
Now that Summer’s marriage is in shambles, she’s been leaning on Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) as a friend more often.
Of course, friendship can often lead to more passionate feelings on a soap, so that could be what Y&R’s building toward with Summer and Chance.
At the moment, Chance is exploring a new romance with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
Although Sharon and Chance haven’t defined what they are to each other yet, they know they’re both feeling a spark.
Since Chance is focused on Sharon romantically, it might be smart for the show to use a fantasy angle with Summer first.
Summer might have a wild dream about Chance that involves sizzling between the sheets.
It’s easy to imagine Summer waking up startled as she realizes her feelings for Chance are indeed more than friendly.
Unfortunately, it could also bring a new dilemma for Summer since Chance seems so smitten with Sharon.
Summer would have to decide whether to back off and hope her chance comes around or perhaps fight for her own opportunity to win Chance over.
In other words, Summer might eventually hope to make her hot Chance dream a reality.
That could mean stealing Sharon’s new man, but Summer may be willing to do that if the pull toward Chance is strong enough.

If Kyle and Summer’s divorce news is in the works, there’s no reason why they both shouldn’t move on with other people.
