The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 16, teases that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will spot Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) at Society, so they’ll share drinks while he waits for his takeout.
Victoria will wonder how things are going with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) since she doesn’t like Nate’s killer instinct, so he’ll admit he mostly tries to park it at the door.
After Victoria says it’s wise not to share every detail of what happens at work, Nate will flash back to kissing Victoria in his office.
Although Nate will acknowledge that things are going better with Elena than they were before, Victoria will realize they’re still a little out of sync.
In Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) suite, he’ll insist he cares about more than just his empire and will want a few days to prove Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) wrong.
Ashley won’t be able to make any promises about sticking around and will head back to the Abbott house.
When Ashley finds Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) in the living room, Allie will sense something’s up and will hope she can help.
Ashley will think she has to handle this on her own, but she’ll be inspired once Allie starts talking about chemical reactions in the lab.
It’ll leave Ashley thinking it can apply to interpersonal relationships too and will hint about things going more smoothly once dominance is established.
Back with Tucker, he’ll look glum as he flashes back to pitching Ashley his idea about her new company.
After Tucker remembers another more passionate moment, he’ll head down to the lobby.
In Daniel Romalotti Jr’s (Michael Graziadei) suite, he’ll get updates on the details of Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) new man.
Heather will explain that she fell for another lawyer she met at work, but she had to wait until Daniel was in the right frame of mind to tell him.
Now Heather will want to make her separation from Daniel permanent, but he’ll get emotional about a family reunion being his motivation for getting his act together.
It’ll be hard for Daniel to accept that his dream is gone.
Heather will talk about Lucy missing her dad and having a hard time adjusting. Daniel will at least hope Heather can tell Lucy that she saw firsthand how much better he’s doing.
On Thursday’s Y&R episode, Heather will reveal that Lucy is just down the hall and invite Daniel to tell his daughter himself.
Once Heather brings Lucy to Daniel’s suite, there’ll be some awkwardness.
Daniel will offer a heartfelt apology before Lucy talks about how he turned into a totally different person back in Savannah.
After Tucker takes responsibility for all the pain he caused, he’ll assure Lucy that he’s not that person anymore.
Daniel will show off the preliminary sketches for his video game, so Lucy will seem touched over the main character being based on her.
Lucy will wish Daniel good luck on his game and agree to have breakfast with him while she’s in town, so it’ll seem like the tension’s starting to lift.
Downstairs, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will point out that she thought Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) was in jail.
Jeremy will explain that he had good lawyers who helped him beat the absurd charges following Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) frame-up.
When Jeremy senses that Phyllis isn’t afraid of him anymore, she’ll admit she thinks he’s all bark and no bite.
Jeremy will assure Phyllis that he’s got plenty of both and will suspect she’s a woman who’s reached her breaking point.
Since Phyllis’ plan to get Diane out of town didn’t work, Jeremy will think that must be killing her.
Tucker will interrupt and shake Jeremy’s hand as they meet face to face for the first time.
After some banter, Tucker will head out – and Phyllis will try to leave as well since she won’t want to be seen with Jeremy.
However, Jeremy will think they have a lot to talk about since they share a mutual enemy in Diane.
Once Jeremy guarantees that Diane is going down, he’ll suggest that Phyllis can either share in the satisfaction or watch from the sidelines.
Jeremy will advise Phyllis to call him if it’s the former.
At Society again, Tucker will interrupt right as Nate’s trying to tell Victoria about Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) latest meeting with him.
Nate will end up delaying the rest of the conversation, so he’ll head home with his takeout.
At the penthouse, Nate will ramble about being included in a high-level meeting and gush over the adrenaline rush of being valued instead of shot down.
Elena will seem annoyed with Nate’s power trip and will talk about being burnt out from her own job at the hospital.
Although Elena will want to nail down a vacation like Nate previously suggested, he won’t think it’s a good time.
Nate will promise to go on one with Elena eventually, but she’ll get fed up when he can’t help her plan ahead for her hospital schedule.
After Elena announces that she’s taking a shower and going to bed, she’ll head upstairs and leave Nate looking frustrated.
Back with Tucker, he’ll stop Victoria from leaving Society and will feel certain she’ll want to hear this news.
Tucker will reveal that he wants to get out of the game and sell McCall Unlimited, so Victoria will be taken aback.
Once Tucker clarifies that he wants to sell every division, he’ll add that he wants to cash out and move on.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Tucker is making a bold move for Ashley’s sake, but things may not go according to plan!
