The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, January 12, tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will invite Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) inside so he can confide in her. Billy will bring Chelsea up to speed on his repeated attempts to fix things with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), but he’ll also admit his efforts failed.
Once Billy reflects on this truly being the end of his relationship, Chelsea will console him as best as she can.
Although Billy may feel guilty for dumping his issues on Chelsea, she’ll probably admit it feels good to help someone – especially Billy since he’s been such a big help to Chelsea in her recovery.
Other Y&R spoilers say Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) could fall into a trap.
That’s because Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will set one with Nick in mind, so this could have something to do with Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) “baby daddy” dilemma.
It’s possible Chloe will help Sally acquire Nick’s DNA sample for a paternity test.
Then again, Chloe might test the waters to see how Nick would feel about having more children.
It’d be easy for Chloe to pretend she’s considering her own family expansion with Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) – just to see how Nick reacts to the idea of adding a baby at this point in his life.
Whatever the case, Chloe will take the lead on a trap and will most likely report back to Sally when the mission’s accomplished. Sally may eagerly await news and hope Chloe doesn’t blow it.
Of course, Chloe’s plans could go awry if she raises Nick’s suspicions about what she’s up to!
Sally doesn’t seem ready to tell Nick or Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) they’re father candidates, but the truth has to come out sooner or later.
In the meantime, Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) will make a sweet vow to Lily, who may feel like almost everyone she cares about feels distant right now.
Lily might worry about doing business with Daniel since that’s been such a mistake with some of her other loved ones.
Daniel may comfort Lily over the drama she’s faced with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) as well as Billy.
This might be a good opportunity for Daniel to promise he’ll never abandon Lily or let anything interfere with their bond.
No matter what happens at Chancellor-Winters, Daniel will want Lily to know their friendship means a lot to him and that he isn’t going anywhere.
Lily and Daniel seem poised to make some updates to their relationship status down the road, so a romantic reunion should be in their future.
