The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, January 19, tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will try to move past all the breakup tension. Despite parting ways on a mature note, it’s obvious that Lily and Billy still have some unresolved issues.
There’s a lot of pain and anger on both sides, so Billy and Lily will come together to address what they’re feeling.
Perhaps Lily and Billy will admit they didn’t like the awkwardness of their interaction at the coffeehouse and hope they can find a way forward somehow.
Even if Lily and Billy aren’t ready to be friends, they can at least be a little more pleasant to each other around town.
Considering how often Y&R characters bump into each other at Crimson Lights and Society, it’s wise to prepare for that and hopefully resolve the tension in advance.
Meanwhile, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will have a surprising dinner date – one involving the new blended family that’s forming with Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind), Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
Although Victoria has been rather territorial about her role as Johnny’s mother, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) helped her see she had to give Johnny some space and loosen her grip a bit.
Johnny’s bond with Connor is growing stronger – and he’s interested in getting to know Chelsea better, too.
That’s why Victoria will sit down with Chelsea, Connor and Johnny as they all have pizza together.
It turns out Chelsea and Victoria will settle on an agreement, so it sounds like Victoria will accept that Chelsea’s going to be in Johnny’s life and try to be OK with that.
In exchange, Chelsea will continue to respect boundaries and make sure Johnny’s wishes always come first.
Victoria and Chelsea might even agree to make pizza nights with the boys a regular thing since Johnny and Connor are getting along so well.
Next, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will return home from their trip to meet Delphine, the woman who potentially wanted them to adopt her baby.
Tessa and Mariah will have some shocking updates for Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), but will their news be good or bad?
Regardless, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) is set to give Mariah and Tessa some advice in the not-too-distant future.
Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will also share guidance with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) after Lily drops a bomb regarding Hamilton-Winters, so Devon will get plenty of support as he contemplates it.
