The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, January 26 Recap – Lily’s Double Backstabbing Blow – Sally’s LA Meeting Canceled

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, January 26, teases that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will have an awkward yet pleasant encounter with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at Society. Although Lily won’t have time to stay and chat, Billy will hope she can figure things out at Chancellor-Winters – and she’ll hope he finds what he’s looking for as well.

At Newman Media, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will discuss their successful Milwaukee meeting before Nate asks Audra to sit in on Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) pitch.

Phyllis will make excuses for why Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) isn’t there and will insist she handles the business side of things.

After Phyllis makes a strong case for Newman Media to back Daniel’s gaming venture, Nate and Audra will discuss their suspicions once they’re alone.

There’ll be questions about whether Chancellor-Winters is in flux and concerns about becoming pawns in some chess game.

At Crimson Lights, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will find Daniel and admit he had a conversation with Phyllis about his gaming project.

After Tucker pushes to be a backer, Daniel will sit down and invite Tucker to dazzle him.

Tucker will point out that he’s done some research on Daniel, so that’ll lead to talk about Daniel’s partner and daughter living in Portugal.

Daniel will seem offended over Tucker dragging his personal life into this, but Tucker will act like he understands making mistakes and trying to be better.

While Tucker’s in the process of making his pitch, a furious Lily will walk in and shut him down.

Lily will remind Tucker that Daniel has a contract with Chancellor-Winters, but Tucker won’t think their ventures should be forced to sit in limbo.

After Lily blames Tucker for the latest IPO setback, she’ll speak to Daniel alone.

Daniel will assure Lily that Tucker came to him, but she’ll urge him to see that Tucker is an untrustworthy snake.

Once Daniel worries about his project getting put on hold, Lily will urge him to give her one week to sort things out.

After that, Lily will be willing to let Daniel out of his contract.

Unfortunately, there’ll be another case of bad timing when Nate and Audra walk in the coffeehouse.

After Audra and Nate mention Phyllis’ pitch, Lily will fume over Daniel talking to Tucker while his mom was off talking to Newman Media.

However, Daniel will suggest there’s been a misunderstanding. Since Phyllis pitched without his knowledge, Daniel will vow to set her straight about his goals.

Soon after, Daniel will corner Phyllis in her hotel room to rip into her and point out that she isn’t his partner on this venture.

Daniel won’t want to risk the deal he’s got in place and will once again find himself questioning his decision to hire Phyllis.

Back at Crimson Lights, Billy will find Nate with Audra and lash out over his disappointing, ruthless behavior.

Lily will watch the drama play out from a nearby table.

At the Abbott house, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Alison Lanier) will interrupt right as Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) are about to kiss.

Since Diane spent the night again, Kyle will worry that Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) still poses a threat.

Jack will insist Jeremy has been neutralized and will admit things have taken a romantic turn in his relationship with Diane. Kyle and Summer will struggle to process that news despite the obvious warning signs.

Diane will assure Kyle that returning to Genoa City was about reconnecting with him.

Jack was never part of the plan according to Diane, especially since she never dreamed that he’d forgive her.

Although Kyle won’t be ready to fully embrace Jack and Diane as an item, he’ll acknowledge that he wants them to be happy.

Summer will eventually pretend they have a breakfast meeting to get to and will drag Kyle off to Society.

Afterward, Diane will worry about Kyle’s reaction and will promise never to do anything to drive Jack away again.

Jack will land back in bed with Diane as he tries to reassure her about the situation.

Back with Summer, she’ll guess Phyllis was right about Diane having her sights set on Jack all along.

That said, Summer will believe Diane genuinely came to town for Kyle – and she’ll think Diane is a step up from Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

Kyle will worry about Jack getting his heart broken before talk turns to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) recruiting him for some Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) sabotage.

After Summer warns about the dangers of colluding with Victor, Kyle will act like he wants to avoid drama as well.

When Victor texts that they should meet about their next steps, Kyle will hide the truth by telling Summer it’s nothing important.

Billy will also stop by Kyle and Summer’s table at one point to ask about Jeremy’s arrest.

Once Billy gets updates on the money launderer switching to jewelry, he’ll seem puzzled and will doubt that Jeremy’s going to learn his lesson.

In Los Angeles, Sally will complain to Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) over the phone about Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) canceling their meeting without an explanation.

After Sally suggests she’s going to stick around in case Jill changes her mind, she’ll hang up and get a call from Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) next.

Nick will make sure Sally’s taking care of herself and will give her a confidence boost.

Sally will feel lucky to have Nick in her life – and she’ll think the baby’s lucky, too.

Unfortunately, Sally will be haunted by her Adam hookup once she disconnects.

Y&R fans will see flashbacks of Sally and Adam’s steamy time together, so she’ll clearly be thinking about Adam being a father option.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally’s paternity mystery will lead to problems, so stay tuned.
