The Young and the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers for Thursday, July 20, reveal that Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will have a run-in with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), so that’ll bring plenty of tension. Christine will probably last out over Phyllis making bail and warn that she shouldn’t get too comfortable outside a jail cell!
Elsewhere, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will do some scheming and hope it leads to a big payoff.
Now that Phyllis is back and ready to be put to good use, Ashley and Tucker will discuss their plot to push Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) over the edge.
Phyllis is supposed to start by getting Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to forgive her, but that’s sure to be a tough task.
Even so, Tucker will count on Phyllis to do whatever it takes and get the ball rolling on Diane’s misery. The sooner Ashley and Tucker send Diane off the rails, the easier it’ll be to prove her true colors to Jack and ultimately take over Jabot.
Of course, Tucker and Ashley’s plan seems like a pretty elaborate one where a lot can go wrong, so maybe they shouldn’t be quite so confident. Diane has proven she’s not someone to be underestimated, so Ashley and Tucker need to keep that in mind!
In the meantime, Y&R spoilers say Jack will force Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) into a tight spot. We’ll see Jack cause a situation that turns into a loyalty test for Billy, who’ll respond with a shady cover-up.
Billy may have to lie to Ashley or even someone like Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) depending on how all this goes down, so he won’t be happy about it.
This is the kind of thing that could make Billy wonder whether Jack really deserves his support. Billy wanted to embrace family unity when he returned to Jabot, but now there’s a ton of infighting with him at the center of it all.
Will Billy eventually make some career updates and either join Ashley’s team or walk away from the family drama altogether?
