The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, June 29, indicate that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) won’t have work to distract him from all the chaos he’s faced lately with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
The good news is Nick will find something else to focus on. The bad news is it’ll add to Nick’s stress level in the end!
Y&R fans can expect Nick’s patience to run out when it comes to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), so he’ll lose his temper as he rants about his ex.
Once Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) brings Nick up to speed on all her marital problems – including Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) push to separate – Nick will blame Phyllis for setting all this in motion.
If Phyllis hadn’t schemed with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and pretended to face a grim fate, none of this would’ve happened.
Of course, Summer may argue that Phyllis was Jeremy’s victim and save some blame for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) as well.
Despite Summer’s issues with her mom, she still has sympathy for Phyllis and wants to help her.
That said, Summer also wants to get out of the limbo she’s been stuck in – and that means finding Phyllis ASAP.
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) recently got a visit from Phyllis in a suite at the GCAC, so it looks like he’ll confess to Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) on Thursday’s episode.
Lauren may think Michael should’ve turned Phyllis in while he had the chance, but he chose to let her go and will hope he can work some legal magic for her like she wants.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that word about Diane’s promotion will continue to spread, so that’ll bring more problems than Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) anticipated.
Diane and Jack will face a curveball thanks to Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), so they’ll have to brace for another round of drama.
In the meantime, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will bicker with Jack again since he just doesn’t trust his brother’s judgment right now.
Although Billy will try to stay in Jack and Diane’s corner, he may be forced to abandon their team sooner or later.
