The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) could be secretly working together to fool the Abbotts.
Tucker flew back to Genoa City without Ashley with the story they broke up. But his story doesn’t make much sense. Ashley’s version of their final argument makes even less sense.
After months of plotting to take over Jabot and plans to steal it from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), it’s unlikely that the couple would call it quits and give up their dream of power.
There is an advantage for Ashley to stage a Tucker breakup. Jack loves to be the hero. He would step into the protector role and work hard to protect Ashley from Tucker. It would allow Ashley to plot their next move from the inside.
The only confusing part of this scenario is why Tucker would sleep with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) if his breakup with Ashley is a fakeout. Tucker knows that would be a dealbreaker for Ashley.
Perhaps Ashley told him to ensure everyone believed their breakup was the real deal. What better way to prove a breakup than having a tryst with the biggest man-eater in town (Audra)?
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Ashley is not being completely honest with Jack and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). She painted Tucker as violent and unable to accept her loyalty to Jabot.
The problem with her story is Tucker has never shown the Y&R viewers a violent side. Sure, he has outbursts from time to time and is unpredictable. However, we have not seen any violence from him.
Tucker operates by being sly and manipulating others. On Tuesday’s show, Tucker tells Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) that he’s the only level-headed Abbott.
Tucker was trying to pull Billy on his side, thinking he could use him to get Jabot information. The sad truth is Tucker likely can manipulate Billy into turning against Jack and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Ashley and Tucker faked their breakup. They decided to use their breakup as a way to manipulate the Abbotts to push Jack out of Jabot from within.
