The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may be playing with fire when he strikes a deal with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Phyllis needs to find out Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) weakness and exploit it, so she’ll seek Adam’s help with that during the week of July 31-August 4.
After Phyllis insists she’s ready to accept Adam’s job offer, she’ll bring him up to speed on her Tucker problem.
Phyllis won’t think she can focus on running Adam’s IT department if she doesn’t get Tucker off her back, so she’ll hope he’s willing to assist her.
Adam almost never passes up an opportunity to cause some destruction – especially to a guy like Tucker.
It looks like Adam will decide he’s willing to scheme with Phyllis and put Tucker in his place, but this could be a big mistake.
Y&R fans know Tucker is a formidable foe who’s willing to seek revenge when he’s been wronged. Adam may go into this mission with a smug attitude, but Tucker could wipe the smirk right off him later!
If Adam indeed scores leverage for Phyllis and helps her end Tucker’s hold on her, Tucker certainly won’t be pleased.
Perhaps Tucker will feel like Adam poked his nose where it didn’t belong and made things personal, so he may vow to do the same.
Of course, Tucker won’t care if there’s collateral damage along the way.
We might see Tucker try to destroy Adam, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) merger – even if it means hurting Nick and Sharon, too.
Since Sharon is one of Adam’s own weaknesses, Tucker might like the idea of her suffering because of his actions against Adam.
It’d probably leave Adam feeling guilty, which would add to Tucker’s pleasure.
Tucker might even plot against Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) new design division at Newman Enterprises assuming that moves forward. Sally is definitely a weak spot for Adam as well, which means she could be targeted.
Adam would hate to see Sally lose another chance at success, so Tucker might make sure that happens.
Regardless, there’ll be ways for Tucker to fight back against Adam and Phyllis, so stick with us for updates on the bad news that ahead for both of them.
