The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, January 17, tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will try to patch things up with Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) following their latest fight about Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
However, Summer will feel like Kyle’s desire to help Diane is putting their family in jeopardy.
Kyle will remain in a tight spot, but he’ll work to convince Summer that it’ll all be over once they get Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) off Diane’s back.
Of course, Summer may argue that Diane is a walking drama magnet and will just launch some other crisis – that is if they can even pull off this Jeremy plan first.
The fact that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) was willing to steal from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will leave Summer appalled.
Plus, Kyle has been withholding information again because of Diane, so it’ll make Summer feel like their relationship is falling apart right in front of them.
Kyle will definitely fret over the marriage setback – and the same goes for Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) when he derails Summer’s confrontation with her husband.
Later, it looks like Daniel will get updates on Summer’s romantic issues and disagree about how to handle them.
Summer and Daniel will do some mild clashing, but they’ll agree about one thing.
These siblings will express mutual concern over Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) since she’s been fixated on Diane ever since her enemy returned to town.
It seems like Phyllis can’t think about anything except getting Diane out of the picture, which obviously isn’t healthy for her mental state.
Other Y&R spoilers say Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will have a lot on his mind, so Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will be glad to lend an ear and offer some guidance.
Since Chance has been reflecting on his job lately, he may bring that up once more.
Chance isn’t sure how to separate himself from his identity as a detective, but he also knows he’s put his career first too many times.
Sharon may help Chance see that he brings more to the table than just his ability to protect and serve.
Chance has other talents and skills if he’ll just look hard enough, so Sharon will help him gain a fresh perspective.
Since Y&R preview info points to Chance considering another career in the months ahead, Sharon will be a crucial part of that journey.
Chance may eventually settle on some big news regarding his job and the path he wants to head down.
