The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, January 17, teases that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will have another bonding session. That could mean another supper club meeting and an opportunity to try some new cuisine together.
However, Chance will also need advice since he’ll be doing some soul-searching.
Since Chance is starting to feel a little stuck when it comes to his career, Sharon will listen and offer her point of view.
Although Chance is a great cop, there are other job options to consider.
Sharon will help Chance consider those when the time is right, but he’ll have a little more investigating to do in the meantime.
Chance will eventually get tangled up in all this Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walter) theft drama, so we’ll see if he throws off their plans.
Until then, Jack will get backed into a corner, so he’ll end up making a forced confession.
That could be to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) if Jack admits to stealing her necklace and begs her to understand it’s for a good cause.
Then again, Nikki will end up grilling Jack and Diane later in the week, so Jack might confess to someone else first – like Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Perhaps Phyllis will insist Diane is playing Jack and force him to admit they’re working on a scheme to get rid of Jeremy Stark (James Hyde).
Whatever the case, Y&R spoilers say Jack will deliver some risky news and do everything he can to keep the protective promises he’s made for Diane’s sake.
Meanwhile, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will have their worst Diane fight yet.
The more Kyle puts on the line for his problematic mother, the more irritated Summer becomes and the further this rift widens.
Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) will discover some drama when he finds Kyle and Summer ripping into each other.
The aftermath will bring Summer and Daniel’s bickering since they won’t be on the same page about something.
Daniel’s guidance may not be what Summer is looking for when it comes to her marriage issues, but he’ll no doubt want to help anyway.
Summer might also have a different tactic in mind when it comes to handling Phyllis and her desperate need to sink Diane.
That said, both Daniel and Summer will be concerned about Phyllis, who’ll seem distant and distracted by all the vengeful Diane chaos.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will make some updates to her payback scheme, so stick with the Y&R.
