The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, January 2 – Adam & Nick Co-CEOs – Victoria Puts Claire First – Nikki’s Second Chance

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, January 2, reveal that some big Newman-related developments are coming up, but we should discuss a programming note before we dive in. There’ll be a repeat episode on Monday, January 1, but the current action will pick back up on Tuesday in Genoa City.

For starters, some decisions will have to be made that’ll affect the future of Newman Enterprises.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was adamant about reclaiming the throne and running things his way, but that was before Jordan (Colleen Zenk) tormented his family.

Now Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is Victor’s priority – and it seems that’s the one thing that can convince Victor to step away from his leadership role once again.

However, it won’t be Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) who slides back in her old spot.

Victoria’s going to make a stunning choice on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, which will likely involve putting Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) first.

Since Victoria is focused on supporting Claire and trying to build a relationship with her, her career ambitions will be put on hold.

Victoria won’t be going back to Newman Enterprises right now, so that’ll leave Victor with a seat to fill.

That brings us to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), so Y&R fans can expect some clashing soon enough.

Adam may finally get updates on the chaos that’s been happening with Jordan and object to being kept in the dark on such important news.

Victor will probably walk in on Nick and Adam’s latest confrontation, but he’ll shut it down and insist that now is the time for a truce.

Once Victor demands it, Adam and Nick will manage to keep the peace, which is good since they’ll eventually become co-CEOs!

Victor will trust Nick and Adam to work together, but will this be a real path forward for the brothers or a recipe for disaster?

As for Nikki, she’ll take charge of her own life and realize she’s got a second chance to get things right when it comes to her recovery.

Victor will assure Nikki that he’s not walking away from her when she needs him most.

However, Nikki will still have to do her part, so look for her to resume attending her AA meetings and encounter a man named Seth (Brian Gaskill) at an upcoming one.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki will try to transform her life and get sober again, but it’ll be a long and winding road.
