The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, January 24, teases that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will consider their next chapter. Now that Chelsea’s recovery is moving right along, she may start thinking about some career options.
Billy has been focused on Chelsea lately, so he hasn’t been able to figure out his own career path either.
We may see Billy consider what road to head down and bond with Chelsea over their mutual blank slate.
Of course, Billy and Chelsea may also wonder what their personal future is going to look like.
Chelsea and Billy certainly want to remain in each other’s lives, but will that be as friends or something more?
Both Billy and Chelsea may battle some temptation thanks to flying sparks.
Y&R has certainly set the stage for a romance, so it’s just a matter of when they’ll pull the trigger on this and let love bloom.
Regardless, Chelsea and Billy will think it’s good news that Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and Johnny DiMera (Paxton Mishkind) are getting along so well.
Now that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is trying a bit harder to accept the situation, that may give Billy and Chelsea hope for the future, too.
Next, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will wrestle with a life-changing decision – and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) could make it even harder with all her pressure.
It seems Lily will grow impatient and push Devon to accept the deal that’s on the table. That way, Chancellor-Winters can get the ball rolling on the IPO.
However, Devon isn’t the kind of guy who likes to rush into difficult choices.
Since Devon will still be struggling over the idea of building a new empire, he’ll pump the brakes.
Even so, something tells us Devon is going to strike a deal with Lily sooner or later.
The alternative would be a nasty lawsuit and courtroom feud, so Devon and Lily would both like to avoid that if possible.
Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) brought up some good points and tried to help Devon see things Lily’s way, so he may embrace the chance at a new empire eventually.
Over with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’ll make a vow to a nervous Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei).
Daniel may worry about Phyllis’ continued Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) hatred since she’s fixated on that instead of his gaming venture.
Now isn’t the time to lose their concentration since this project is in danger of crumbling.
This conflict between Lily and Devon has made Daniel worry about the fate of his dream, but Phyllis will make a bold vow and try to rescue him from doubts.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will do whatever she can to keep Daniel’s project going strong and make it a success.
That could ultimately require some help from Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), who’ll definitely seek updates and offer assistance soon.
It sounds like the business drama will bring some surprises in Genoa City!
