The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, May 16, tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will make a big confession that throws Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for a loop. Although Kyle was warned to keep quiet, he won’t want secrets getting in the way of his relationship with his mom again.
It looks like Kyle will come clean about Daniel Romalotti Jr’s (Michael Graziadei) version of events and reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is alive.
That’ll give Diane a lot to process, so she should be furious over Phyllis’ setup and relieved to know there could be a way out of this mess.
Meanwhile, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will get under Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) skin during their encounter at Society.
Although Victor might act like Diane is guilty, Jack obviously knows she isn’t and will lash out as he defends his fiancée.
Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will eventually show up wondering why Jack summoned her, so he’ll have quite a bombshell to deliver.
It looks like Jack will fill Christine in on Phyllis’ survival by midweek, so Tuesday’s Y&R cliffhanger may bring the start of his admission.
Next, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will cross paths with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), so they’ll take a little trip down memory lane.
Of course, that could lead to reflecting on the good, the bad and the ugly! Billy and Summer will have fond memories of Phyllis, but they’ll also remember more complicated times and even instances when they hurt her.
Summer and Billy might bring up when they slept together since that’s something they both wish they could turn back the clock and undo.
Although Billy will offer Summer his condolences, she’ll continue to act like Phyllis is dead and won’t realize the secret’s blowing up elsewhere.
As for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), she’ll try to help Daniel when she spies him worrying about the family blowups that are brewing.
Nevertheless, Chelsea will have some worries of her own since Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) isn’t coping well with all the changes in his life – including the news of his baby sister’s impending arrival.
