The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, July 10, indicates that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be delighted when Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) shows off her birthday present. After Lily checks out the Queen Liliana universe Daniel designed for her, she’ll request a copy.
At Jabot, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will try to brush off Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) attempts to talk business.
Summer will stand her ground and ask how Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is feeling about the Marchetti creative director job offer.
Billy won’t be sure Chelsea is ready for that step, so he’ll think maybe Summer should travel back to Italy and find someone else to fill the role.
Since Billy will give Summer an attitude, she’ll lash out at him for being unhelpful and will guess he’s trying to get rid of her since she’s not family anymore.
Billy will insist they can still be friends and on the same side in business. Although Summer will beat herself up for the mess she created with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Billy will give her a little pep talk in the end.
After Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) argues with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) at the Abbott house, she’ll head to the Jabot offices.
Billy will have a strategy session with Jack before Diane arrives and mentions sending directives to HR as well as legal.
Diane will think they have to make sure their employees are happy and get them to sign NDAs as well as non-compete contracts.
Jack will continue to seethe over Ashley’s new health and beauty company, but Diane will have faith that they can survive and thrive.
Despite all the drama, Jack will reflect on how happy he is with Diane and will imagine what it’d be like to run away with her somewhere tropical.
Although Diane will like her current life with Jack, she’ll indulge his fantasy and will discuss her wedding with him as well.
Back with Ashley, she’ll talk to Tucker about how they can ramp up their efforts to get under Diane’s skin and set the stage for her downfall.
Ashley will feel like Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) comeback would really do the trick, but Tucker will feel like Phyllis would be caught up in legal drama if she returned.
Nevertheless, Tucker will seem like he might be plotting something before he ultimately heads to the athletic club.
Other Y&R spoilers say Phyllis will once again go incognito as she catches up with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) in the park.
Michael will get updates on Phyllis’ willingness to rely on him for assistance now, so he’ll think this will be easier once she accepts the situation and turns herself in.
Phyllis will recap everything she’s been through to help Michael better understand her case.
After Phyllis requests some time to be with her thoughts alone, she’ll assure Michael that she’ll call him when she’s ready to come forward without her disguise on.
Michael will urge Phyllis not to wait too long before giving Daniel and Summer big news right after. Summer and Daniel will learn that Phyllis may surrender herself to the cops soon enough.
Since EMT Carson’s (Walter Belenky) testimony could be crucial to helping Phyllis, Summer will insist they can’t stop trying to find him. Tucker will listen in on the conversation, so he’ll gain some valuable information.
Back in the park, Phyllis will have an imaginary encounter with Diane that turns quite tense. Diane will suggest she should call the police and will basically act like Phyllis has destroyed her entire life.
If Phyllis left now, Diane will contend that people would think she just ran away like the coward she is.
Once Phyllis’ fantasy wraps up, she’ll write a message on her phone about Diane winning before changing her mind and erasing everything.
Instead of accepting defeat, Phyllis will decide to keep fighting for her own victory. As Phyllis prepares to come out of hiding, she’ll also plan to finish what she started.
