The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will have some troubles on his mind when he heads to Society’s bar. It turns out Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will also be there drinking and mulling over his problems.
Kyle will plop himself beside Adam and decide to take out some of his anger on his enemy.
Y&R fans know Kyle is dealing with a lot thanks to the Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) situation and his concerns about Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) safety.
Kyle will also be worried about his marriage since Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) isn’t happy about all the Diane chaos.
Now that this is affecting Kyle’s family with Summer and Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez), he’ll be struggling with plenty of messy emotions.
Kyle will decide to blow off some steam by getting under Adam’s skin.
It’ll work since Kyle will bring up Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and how she picked Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) over him.
That’s always a sensitive subject for Adam, who’ll clash with Kyle until Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) arrives.
Victor will be running a bit late for a mysterious meeting with Kyle and will be rather icy to Adam upon his arrival.
That’ll push Adam’s buttons as well, but it turns out Victor’s son will actually be the reason for this Kyle meeting.
In a moment alone with Kyle, Victor will propose joining forces with a common Adam-related goal.
Kyle voiced his disapproval when Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) hired Adam to help him run Jabot.
Now that Adam has had some time to settle in, Kyle has only grown more irritated over him being part of his family’s business.
Victor will agree Adam doesn’t belong at Jabot, so he’ll suggest they should form an alliance and do something about it.
When Kyle realizes Victor is plotting to get Adam out of the company, he’ll be intrigued about how they can make that happen.
Of course, the plan could be to make Adam so miserable that he quits, but Victor knows his son can be awfully stubborn.
Perhaps Victor will think Adam will have to be fired if he’s ever going to leave Jabot behind.
Regardless, the point is Victor doesn’t want Adam at Jabot anymore, so he’ll hope to become Kyle’s partner on getting him out of there.
From where Victor’s standing, this will be the first step toward getting Adam back at Newman Enterprises.
Will Victor count on Kyle to sabotage Adam and make sure he’s forced out at Jabot?
One way or another, Victor will make some strategy updates and decide he’s willing to play dirty for the sake of Adam’s return to Newman.
