The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) may find herself feeling adrift soon, especially when it comes to her love life. It could open the door for a once popular pairing to be revisited, so let’s talk about Victoria’s tricky situation.
Victoria had a good thing going with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) until he got fired from Newman Enterprises.
The fact that Victoria sided with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) really riled Nate up and made him seriously question where he fits on her priority list.
Things certainly aren’t looking good when it comes to Nate’s future with Victoria.
Now that Nate’s out at Newman Enterprises, there may be no salvaging his romantic relationship with Victoria either.
Of course, Y&R surely won’t let Victoria wander around alone with no one to lean on. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will continue to be there for Victoria, but her brother’s support may not be enough in the coming weeks.
It’s easy to imagine Victoria leaning on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) as a familiar source of comfort.
No matter what else is going on in their lives, Billy always has time to listen to Victoria’s problems and serve as a shoulder to cry on.
Naturally, that could be a problem in Billy’s relationship with Chelsea for multiple reasons.
For starters, Chelsea knows better than anyone that Billy is drawn to damsels in distress and wants to fix issues for the people he cares about.
When someone turns to Billy in despair, he tends to obsess over the situation.
Billy often develops a one-track mind where he can’t concentrate on much else besides his current rescue mission.
That was certainly the case back when Billy was so focused on helping Chelsea and left Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) feeling pushed aside.
Now it may be Chelsea’s turn to get shoved to the background – at least if Billy obsesses over supporting Victoria.
Since Victoria is Billy’s ex-wife and the mother of his children, he’s always going to care deeply for her.
Once Victoria potentially starts leaning on Billy more often, will she derail his relationship with Chelsea and steal her former flame back?
