The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will have a big decision to make following Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) demand. Since Jordan is holding Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) captive somewhere, she’s using Claire as leverage and expects Nikki to trade herself for her granddaughter.
Of course, Nikki certainly isn’t fond of Claire after what she did. Despite Jordan’s manipulation, Nikki doesn’t give Claire a pass for her role in kidnapping her and pumping her full of vodka at the lake house.
Nikki still considers Claire to be an untrustworthy wildcard, but things have changed based on the DNA results.
Now Nikki knows Claire is Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) daughter and realizes how desperate Victoria is to bond with her.
That’s why Nikki may be willing to trade herself for Claire – just to make sure Victoria doesn’t lose her biological child once again.
It would devastate Victoria, so Nikki might agree to Jordan’s demand of a captive swap.
However, Jordan is an evil Y&R character who shows no mercy, so there’s no guarantee she’ll keep her end of the bargain and release Claire. Jordan has proven she’s nothing but bad news from day one.
Since Jordan considers Claire to be a traitor, she might have something sinister planned for her, too.
This could easily turn into a situation where Jordan wants both Claire and Nikki to face a grim fate.
Back when Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) had his final showdown, he tried to force Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to choose whether Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) or Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) lived.
Jordan might have a similar dilemma in mind for Victoria – or maybe she’ll just want Victoria to have a front-row seat to the demise of both her mom and her daughter.
Regardless, Nikki and Claire will be in grave danger, but Victoria might get a heroic moment like Sharon did when she took Cameron out!
Will Victoria go mama bear on Jordan and rescue Claire along with Nikki? Victoria might get a chance to play the hero and prove to Claire just how much she already loves her.
