The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) could end up longing for the past – specifically her past with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Of course, every attempt at a Billy and Victoria reunion tends to end in disaster, but that may not stop Victoria from wanting another one.
Victoria could easily start thinking about her history with Billy and the family they’ve built together.
It could make Victoria miss simpler times with Billy, Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri).
Victoria might find herself wishing they were all still under the same roof and happy as a more united fam.
Now everything has been turned upside down due to Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) bio mom revelation.
Of course, Victoria knows that Johnny has come to grips with the birth mother news by now.
Johnny is open to getting to know Chelsea better and certainly enjoys bonding with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) as his half-brother.
Victoria doesn’t intend to stand in the way of any of that, but there are deeper issues going on.
In the January 19 episode, Victoria looks unsettled by the idea of a full-blown blended family and seems to feel like an outsider despite Chelsea’s efforts to include her.
This is the kind of thing that could lead to a major Y&R romantic shakeup and some story updates.
It wouldn’t be surprising if Victoria suddenly tried pulling Billy closer and reigniting the spark they used to have.
That’s especially true now that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is single. Billy and Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) breakup could make it easier for Victoria to decide she’d better pounce on this opportunity.
The closer Billy gets to Chelsea, the more Victoria may view her as a replacement.
It may feel like Chelsea is stealing Victoria’s ex-husband and the mom role in their family, so how will Victoria deal with that?
Victoria might try to win Billy back so they can have a united family again, but would Billy see through her insecurities and shut her down?
Perhaps Billy could help Victoria through this rough patch and make her understand that addition of Chelsea doesn’t change Victoria’s own family contributions.
