The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, August 16, reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will decide it’s time for a strategy shift. It turns out Victor will come up with a new way to handle Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), so he’ll put a plan in motion soon enough.
Of course, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will get updates on Adam blackmailing Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and trying to make Newman Media part of the Adustus merger.
That news will leave Nick fuming since Adam relied on his usual dirty tactics and once again made a futile play for Newman Media control.
Adam is supposed to be letting his Newman Media agenda go and focusing on the future, so Nick will march over to his condo for a confrontation.
However, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is already at Adam’s place, so Nick will catch them together when he arrives.
Things may look a little too cozy for Nick’s taste, especially once he sees the takeout Sally ordered.
Nick will inevitably think Adam is trying to pull Sally closer again, but he may worry that Sally’s sending mixed signals and letting it happen.
It sounds like Nick will have plenty of reasons to rip into Adam and several reasons to question Sally’s behavior as well.
While Nick discovers Sally and Adam in a compromising situation, Audra will open her eyes to another side of Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Y&R spoilers say Audra will gain a fresh perspective and perhaps see just how much pain Kyle’s been in over his failed marriage.
Kyle normally likes to hook up instead of talk, but he’ll apparently confide in Audra for once about Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) betrayal and all his suffering.
After Kyle shows some vulnerability, it should pull Audra closer and could potentially make her see him as boyfriend material.
Audra may find herself falling hard for Kyle despite her best efforts to keep her walls up.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer has also suffered due to Kyle’s affair, but she’ll try to keep moving forward in the coming weeks.
