The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 15, reveals that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will wonder why Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) came to see him, so she’ll admit she’s hoping for more of an explanation that she got before.
Tucker will deny that he would’ve made a move against Ashley, but he’ll confess that he’s in deep water financially.
After Tucker opens up about how he got in this predicament, he’ll reveal that he was hoping to acquire two powerhouses without laying out too much capital.
Ashley will fume over Tucker’s willingness to potentially let Jabot and Chancellor-Winters go down with the sinking ship.
Since Tucker clearly didn’t have the money to fund a new company for Ashley, she’ll wonder why he offered it at all.
Tucker will insist he would’ve given up everything to make Ashley’s dream come true, but she’ll remind him that he simply tried to convince her that was her dream.
After Tucker lashes out, he’ll insist Ashley can feel the connection and passion between them – even when they’re arguing.
However, Ashley will plant a kiss and claim to feel no passionate pull whatsoever. Now that Tucker’s in such financial trouble, Ashley will wonder what he’s going to do next.
Tucker won’t know since he’s running out of options and will mention Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) plan to buy up his debt before taking over his company.
Once Tucker talks about karma catching up to him, he’ll act like maybe he should just let it happen and lose it all. Tucker will add that he’d indeed let it all go if it meant spending the rest of his days with Ashley.
Ashley will wonder how Tucker can hold onto even a shred of hope for them at this point, but he’ll snap that it’s because he loves her and guess even karma can’t change that.
At Society, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will argue with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) about Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) firing her and about her ill-advised Portugal trip.
Summer will feel like Phyllis may have wrecked things for Daniel, so Phyllis will grow frustrated over her daughter never understanding her perspective anymore.
After Phyllis wonders what she’s done to make her kids hate her, Summer will insist they love her and just want to be the ones to fix their own lives.
Phyllis will grumble about all the pessimism, but Summer will reiterate that they want her to stop trying to control their own lives – especially when Phyllis can’t even control her own.
Once Phyllis declares that she’s tired of being made out to be the villain and the devil, she’ll urge Summer to share that with Daniel before storming out.
At the Abbott house on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will have a little trouble getting the door open, but she’ll assure Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that she’ll get the hang of the lock.
Jack will welcome Diane home and share a toast with her before a glum-looking Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) arrives.
Kyle will admit to having a big fight with Summer and won’t be sure how he’ll get her to forgive him.
Jack will sarcastically suggest Kyle could get advice from Victor, so that’ll launch another round of conflict over Kyle turning to Victor over his own father.
After Jack asks why Kyle couldn’t trust him, Kyle will insist that he does. Jack will guess the question now is whether he can trust Kyle and will leave to get some air.
Kyle will notice some packed bags in the living room, so Diane will admit Jack asked her to move in. Although Kyle will point out they don’t need his blessing, Diane will still hope her son’s OK with it.
Summer will interrupt when she comes home, so she’ll get updates on Diane moving in as well.
Diane will act like it’s great news, but Summer won’t say much of anything and will head upstairs to check on Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez).
Kyle will follow Summer upstairs moments later in hopes of working things out with his wife.
Meanwhile, Jack will find Phyllis at The Grand Phoenix’s bar, where she’ll talk about cutting herself out of her children’s lives.
When Jack finds that hard to believe, Phyllis will rant about her situation before Jack commiserates with her briefly.
Jack will claim to understand since someone who meant the world to him broke his trust – someone who had no business lying to him.
Phyllis will assume Jack has seen the light about Diane and will guess she must’ve done something horrible to open Jack’s eyes.
Jack will insist Kyle is the one who let him down and will clarify that things are fine in his relationship with Diane.
After Jack gets agitated, he’ll blame himself for thinking he could open up to Phyllis and will insist she truly is her own worst enemy.
Once Jack reconvenes with Diane at home, she’ll mention Kyle having a diplomatic response to her move-in announcement.
Diane will want more than just acceptance from Kyle, so Jack will insist their son will be happy in time and will think the worst is behind them.
While Jack tells Diane that nothing is in their way now, Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) will surprise Phyllis at the hotel bar and suggest it looks like she could use a friend.
In Daniel’s suite, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will admit she told the front desk that she was his wife so they’d let her in.
Daniel will hug Heather and assume she didn’t want to pull Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) out of school for the trip.
Heather will think they should talk privately, so Daniel will start by apologizing for Phyllis coming to see her without his knowledge.
After Heather admits she found Phyllis’ support sweet, she’ll be glad to see for herself how happy and focused Daniel seems.
Daniel will reflect on his journey and will acknowledge that what he did to his family was inexcusable.
Once Daniel says he fixed the glitch, Heather will blurt out that she met someone.
Daniel will need Heather to repeat that since he won’t think he heard her right, but she’ll confirm she met someone else.
Although Daniel will think they deserve another chance, Heather will point out that she can’t forget – even if she could forgive.
That said, Heather will want good things for Daniel and will hope he wants the same for her.
After Heather reflects on how she moved on and fell in love, she’ll think Daniel should be honest with himself.
If Daniel does that, Heather will feel like he’s going to realize it’s best if he moves on, too.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Daniel will have to deal with this crushing blow, so stay tuned to Y&R.
