The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, January 11 Recap – Sharon Spies Chance Blasting Abby – Adam’s Rock Bottom

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, January 11, reveals that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will surprise Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) with a visit.

At Chelsea’s apartment, Victor will worry about Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and will remind Chelsea that he helped her avoid attempted murder charges in the Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) case.

Now Victor will be willing to help Chelsea again since he’ll know something’s going on.

Victor will suggest Connor could stay at the ranch if Chelsea ever needs a break, but she’ll insist Connor is thriving and will downplay Victor’s concerns.

When Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) arrives, he’ll fume over Victor showing up there.

Victor will think he’s entitled to visit anyone any he pleases, but Adam will warn that Chelsea is off-limits and push his father to leave.

Once Chelsea is alone with Adam, she’ll assure him that she’s fine and will admit Victor actually helped her see things clearly.

Chelsea will wonder if maybe she should tell Victor the truth about her suicide attempt, but Adam will seem wary of how his dad might react.

Nevertheless, Chelsea will feel like Victor seemed to genuinely care about her.

As Chelsea reflects on the whole ordeal with Rey, she’ll feel like everything might’ve been different if she’d gotten the help she needed sooner.

Chelsea will get emotional over nearly killing herself on the rooftop that night since that would’ve caused so much pain, but Adam will insist it was just a moment of weakness.

Since Chelsea will want some alone time, Adam will grant the request and take off.

At Society, Victor will tell Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) about visiting Chelsea and will fret over what she’s hiding.

Adam will eventually show up to warn Victor to stop trying to control his family and will add that they’ll never be under his thumb.

Once Adam’s gone, Nikki will urge Victor to just let it roll off his back.

Victor will think he should try a different approach and will hint about Adam needing to hit rock bottom.

According to Victor on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, he’ll believe Adam needs to experience a massive failure to realize where he belongs.

“That boy is getting out of line – and I have had it,” Victor will declare.

At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, he’ll leave Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) a voicemail about his latest news and hope she’ll get back to him soon.

In Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) office, she’ll be surprised to see Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), who’ll offer a heart-shaped chocolate as a reminder of Valentine’s Day 2022.

Lily will smile over the memory, but she’ll warn Billy that they can’t go back.

Despite Billy’s desire to try again, Lily won’t think anything’s going to change and will really hope Billy finds the happiness he’s looking for.

Billy will acknowledge that his heart feels like it’s going through a meat grinder, but this will still be the most adult breakup he’s ever had.

There’ll be some emotional moments as Billy and Lily share a goodbye embrace.

Later, Chelsea will open her apartment door and find a distraught Billy sitting outside her door.

Back with Lily, she’ll rush to Devon’s place after getting updates from Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) over the phone.

Lily will fume over Devon deciding to dissolve their partnership without even having a conversation with her about it.

Devon will argue that he never thought the merger was a good idea and will think he should’ve been honest with himself about that a long time ago.

As far as Devon’s concerned, he’ll think he should run Hamilton-Winters while Lily goes back to just running Chancellor.

Lily will be appalled over Devon threatening to go public with his IPO opposition if he doesn’t get his way.

It’ll feel like Devon is stabbing her in the back, so Lily won’t see how he’s any better than Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

Lily will eventually decide Devon is acting more like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) right now since he’s all about control and will leave in a huff.

At Crimson Lights, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will spot Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) having a fun conversation about their adventurous supper club plans.

Once Abby pulls Chance aside, she’ll admit she hasn’t seen him smile like that in a while.

Chance will want Abby to get to the point, so she’ll confess she’s made a decision that concerns him.

Abby will think it’s time to move out of the Chancellor mansion, so Chance will assume this means Abby is moving in with Devon and moving on with him, too.

That’ll leave Abby wondering if that’s the kind of person Chance thinks she is – that she’d just slide right into another relationship before the ink on their divorce papers is even dry.

Chance won’t really know who Abby is anymore and will blast her for spending every waking moment with the guy who ruined their marriage.

As for Abby’s mansion move, Chance won’t think it’s wise to uproot Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) and will convince her to stay put for now.

Once Abby walks out, Chance will apologize to Sharon since she had to witness that. However, Sharon won’t think it’s healthy for Chance to keep his emotions bottled up.

Chance will talk about the deep sense of failure he feels, but Sharon will point out that he wasn’t the one who cheated.

Even so, Chance will battle guilt over his own mistakes and will think he put his job first too many times. That said, Chance won’t know who he is apart from that job.

Back with Abby, she’ll show up at Devon penthouse, where he’ll admit it’s good to see her face.

Abby will wonder if Devon really means that and will feel like she keeps running to him with all her problems.

Devon will assure Abby that he’s always happy to see her and will want her to always come to him when she needs him.

Abby and Devon will give each other a comforting hug since they’ll both be dealing with drama.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon and Abby’s relationship will deepen in the coming weeks, so stay tuned to Y&R.
