The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, January 18, tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will try to bring out the worst in Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). After listening to Tucker talk about the path to peace, she won’t buy what he’s selling.
Tucker may act like Phyllis caught him at a bad time when he mentioned burning it all down.
Now that Tucker has had a follow-up conversation with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), he may act like he knows he needs to reevaluate his choices.
However, Phyllis may argue that sometimes blowing everything up is the only road to relief.
That’s certainly the perspective that Phyllis tends to have when it comes to her own life and feuds.
Since Phyllis still wants to take Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) down, she may push for help and suggest Tucker could at least get revenge on his former partner in crime.
Meanwhile, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will await news following what we can assume was a tip to the Chicago PD.
Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will get updates while Jack eavesdrops at the coffeehouse and hopes for the best.
It looks like Jack called the cops in Chicago and anonymously insisted that Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) stole from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) apartment.
Thanks to Diane’s planted evidence in Jeremy’s suite, he could be in big trouble when Chance investigates.
Jeremy may step out of the shower expecting to make love to Diane and find himself in danger of being arrested instead!
Other Y&R spoilers say Devon will deal with some doubts.
Although Devon wants to trust his instincts when it comes to buying back Hamilton-Winters, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will put him in a tricky situation.
Lily will admit they’re refusing Devon’s purchase, but she’ll think there’s a solution that’ll make everyone happy.
Devon will have to consider a fresh pitch, so Jill will play referee before he gives it some serious thought.
When Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) stops by the penthouse later, Devon will confess that he didn’t see Lily and Jill’s proposal coming.
Abby will prove quite helpful as Devon struggles over his next move and how to keep the peace.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon and Abby will keep growing closer, so their love story will continue to develop as well.
