The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Week of August 14 – Chelsea’s Exit – Nick Gets a Shock – Newman Power Play

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of August 14-18 reveal that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will discover something that catches him by surprise. That could involve Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) decision to play dirty and blackmail Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) into helping him.

Of course, Nick won’t be pleased if he finds out Adam is still obsessed with folding Newman Media into the merger.

It could lead to Nick dishing out some threats of his own and trying to shut down Adam’s attempt to manipulate Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Then again, it’s possible Nick’s stunning discovery will involve Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) freedom following her fast plea deal and meeting with Judge Linda Franklin (Roslyn “Ros” Gentle).

There’s even a chance Nick will catch Audra and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) in a sizzling moment, so Y&R will offer multiple opportunities to give Nick a shock.

Over with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), he’ll reach a deal with someone.

That could involve Jack’s promise to be on his best behavior at Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) wedding, but the nuptials could end up going off the rails anyway!

Regardless, it looks like Jack may continue plotting behind Ashley’s back while she does the same.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be caught in the middle of all the Jack, Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters), Ashley and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) drama, so he’d better be ready for some tight spots.

As for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), she’ll receive updates on something shocking and react accordingly.

This could tie in with Melissa Claire Egan’s maternity leave exit, so Chelsea might learn some huge news that sends her out of town.

It’s easy to imagine Chelsea getting called out of town to help her ailing mom, Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach) – or maybe Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will send Chelsea off to Italy on a Marchetti assignment instead.

Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will make a power play, so we’ll see if that involves Newman Media or some other aspect of Victor’s grand business plan.

Whatever the case, Victor has made it clear that he’s the boss and that he expects his children to follow orders, so they may need a reminder of that soon enough.

It sounds like the week of August 14-18 will bring some alarm bells and big company shifts, so stay tuned.
