The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of August 7-11 reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will take a gamble – most likely for the sake of her own freedom. This may tie in with Phyllis’ efforts to get the goods on Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and score the power to sink him.
Phyllis needs leverage on Tucker and has asked Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for help finding it, so we’ll see if he ultimately grants her request.
Regardless, Phyllis will engage in some risky behavior and presumably try to break free from Tucker’s grasp. It’ll be a big step toward the brighter future that Phyllis wants if she can make that happen.
Of course, Phyllis will also have to worry about her upcoming trial and whether she can fully make amends with Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) as well as Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei).
Nevertheless, Phyllis will be determined to create a better path for herself. Once Phyllis gets past all the risky business, she’ll hope there’s light waiting at the end of the tunnel.
After Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) unveils a new strategy, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will have to decide which side he’s truly on when it comes to the Abbott family feud.
Will Billy continue to help Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) plot against Ashley? Will Billy legitimately join Ashley’s team instead and double-cross his brother?
No matter what Billy decides, he’s going to anger certain members of the Abbott clan. It’s clear that the family drama’s about to get a whole lot worse thanks to Billy’s next move!
However, that won’t stop Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) from trying to dial down all the conflict.
Abby doesn’t want to see her family torn apart, so she’ll play peacemaker and try to get everyone to focus on whatever love is left in their hearts.
Unfortunately, Abby may not be very successful when it comes to playing referee for Jack, Ashley, Billy, Diane and anyone else who gets caught up in the chaos.
Other Y&R spoilers say Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will find herself feeling cornered with no way out. There could be some unexpected curveball at Newman Media that leaves Audra fearing for her future there.
Could Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) confront both Audra and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) for sleeping together? That news may rile Victor up since Kyle is Summer’s husband, so there could be backlash at work.
Then again, Audra might feel cornered by somebody else with a reason to lash out at her – like Diane or Phyllis if one of them wants to accuse her of being a gold-digging homewrecker.
Kyle chose to cheat with Audra, but that doesn’t mean she won’t end up facing some backlash for her part in helping him betray his vows.
