The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of December 4-8 reveal that the Newmans will have to deal with the aftermath of all the chaos in Oregon. Aunt Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) plot left multiple lives in jeopardy, so there’ll be a lot for the Newman clan to process.
Of course, Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) priority will be looking after Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and making sure she’s OK after her ordeal.
Nikki has had a ton of alcohol pumped in her system, so the road back to sobriety may bring some difficulties.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will remain on the mend after getting slashed, so word about that and the poisoning crisis should spread.
Will the news about what Nick’s been through stir up old feelings for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)?
Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) should be concerned once they get updates on Nick’s nightmare as well.
There’ll be plenty of shocked Genoa City residents once the details of what happened start leaking.
As for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), she’ll have to mull over the possibility that Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) really could be her long-lost daughter.
Victoria has been acting like it’s not possible, but fans can see in her eyes that she’s wondering about the truth deep down.
Since a DNA test would clear things up, maybe Victoria and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will move forward with one of those eventually.
In the meantime, Claire will remain in a world of trouble, but will Victoria keep her promise to help her?
Victoria would’ve said just about anything to convince Claire to hand over the antidote, but something about her vow to Claire felt genuine.
That could lead to Victoria hiring Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) as Claire’s attorney since he’ll be sharing Y&R scenes with Claire and Aunt Jordan.
Speaking of Aunt Jordan, she’ll find herself in police custody sooner or later, so any last-minute getaway attempt she might make is going to backfire.
Next, it looks like Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will move full-speed ahead with a new corporate position, so viewers should see his first day on the job.
Over with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), he may find himself torn over all the Newman turmoil that’s gone down.
Adam may be upset over being left out of the loop until it was all over. At the same time, this could be Adam’s chance to shine if Victor puts his son in charge.
Adam may have to take on more responsibilities while Nick finishes recovering, Victoria focuses on Claire and Victor concentrates on Nikki.
Whatever the case, The Young and the Restless spoilers say the Newman family will have to deal with the trauma of what happened, so stay tuned to watch their attempt to heal.
