The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of January 23-27 tease that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will cause more hostility in Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) marriage.
Summer still won’t feel like Kyle understands the danger and drama Diane consistently causes.
Of course, Kyle will continue to feel like Summer doesn’t have enough compassion for Diane’s situation or the dilemma he’s been dealing with.
Although Kyle wants to keep Summer happy and protect their family with Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez), he can’t abandon Diane when she needs him – especially when he feels like everyone’s been out to get her since her first day back in Genoa City.
Kyle will hope Summer can let the past go following Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) arrest, but Summer won’t be able to shake the feeling that more trouble’s brewing – and she’ll undoubtedly be right!
However, Kyle may have a distraction in the form of his Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) alliance.
Victor will pressure Kyle to get Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) out of Jabot by any means necessary, so he’ll push Kyle to use some dirty moves.
Other Y&R spoilers say Victor will have a special request that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) is in the best position to grant.
That’s why Victor will call Jill up and hope she can make this favor happen for him.
Although Victor plans to sink Adam at Jabot, he also wants to offer a Newman alternative to lure his son back into the family fold.
Victor plans to get his hands on something that’ll prove irresistible to Adam, so maybe he’ll turn to Jill for an acquisition.
It’d be interesting if Victor tried to score Daniel Romalotti Jr’s (Michael Graziadei) gaming division for Adam, but there could be something else Victor has in mind for his son’s future.
Whatever the case, Victor will hope to create temptation that brings Adam home to Newman Enterprises.
Over with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), alarm bells will go off when it comes to Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Elena will question Audra’s motives and worry Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) decision to hire her could come back to bite him.
Audra is a real overachiever who thinks a person deserves to lose if someone else plays the game better.
There are signs that COO Audra might try to climb the corporate ladder and score Nate’s CEO position for herself, so he’ll need to watch his back!
Then again, Elena might worry Audra’s main goal is getting Nate in her bed.
That could certainly be an option as well since Audra has flirted with Nate on more than one occasion.
Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will react following Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) pregnancy updates, so he may have paternity questions that Sally can’t answer just yet.
Regardless, Nick will have to mull over the fact that he could potentially be a father again and help Sally deal with this baby news, too.
We should also mention a special episode that’s coming up to honor Tracey E. Bregman’s (Lauren Fenmore Baldwin) 40th anniversary at Y&R.
That’ll air on January 25, so fans will want to tune in!
Lauren will receive an amazing award to celebrate her fashion accomplishments, so that’ll bring Fenmore “Fen” Baldwin (Zach Tinker) home for the party.
Look for Lauren to take a walk down memory lane after a surprise at her award ceremony.
