The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of September 18-22 reveal that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will push Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to his breaking point. Victoria’s goal will be to prove Victor is no longer up to the challenge of running Newman Enterprises, but her plan could backfire if she’s not careful.
Of course, Victoria won’t be satisfied with being Victor’s co-CEO, so she’ll try to undo her demotion and force Victor back out of the top spot.
However, Victor will quickly run out of patience when it comes to Victoria’s tactics, so he may warn her to knock it off or risk getting fired.
Over with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’ll strike a risky deal with someone – one that could end in disaster!
There have been some hints in Y&R spoilers about an alliance between Phyllis and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) since they both approve of Heather getting back together with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei).
Although Daniel is currently dating Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), Phyllis may not let that stop her from partnering up with Heather and guiding her toward a reunion with Daniel.
Both Phyllis and Heather could be begging for trouble here.
It’s almost never a good idea to take Phyllis’ advice, so Heather may sabotage herself by tying herself to the perpetual meddling mom.
Likewise, Phyllis will do the one thing Daniel asked her not to do when she interferes in his personal life, so that could bring another setback in their already fragile relationship.
All of that could tie in with the alarming news that Lily is about to receive.
Will Phyllis create a situation where Daniel surrenders to temptation with Heather or gets caught in a compromising position?
Lily might face an infuriating betrayal shocker or at least start to ask herself some tough questions about whether she can stay in a relationship where she doesn’t fully trust Daniel.
Over with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), she’ll report for duty and grow intrigued by the new assignment Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) passes along.
That might involve Audra working on a way to get Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) out of Victoria’s life both personally and professionally.
Then again, maybe Nikki will want Audra to figure out what Victoria and Nate might be planning instead.
Perhaps Nikki will fear that trouble’s brewing thanks to Victor demoting Victoria.
Audra might even be tasked with figuring out Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) true agenda, but Nikki will make her COO useful no matter what.
