The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that for the first time in a long time, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) showed some real signs of life. It’s clear that Chance is smitten with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), but that doesn’t mean it’ll be smooth sailing for these two.
When Chance first returned from Spain, he had some serious PTSD issues to work through.
Chance also faced some struggles when it came to bonding with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware), which led to him feeling on the outside sometimes.
Of course, Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) eventually cheated on Chance with Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James), so that resulted in a divorce.
It feels like Chance has had reasons to mope ever since Conner Floyd debuted as a recast.
That’s why it’s so refreshing to see Chance with a smile on his face and a spring in his step.
Sharon has brought some light to Chance’s world, so he seems to be loving this romantic fresh start.
Unfortunately, Sharon’s obsession with rebuilding Kirsten Incorporated could become an obstacle when it comes to developing a relationship with Chance.
It’s one thing to have a quick hookup in the Crimson Lights office, but it’s quite another to make time for multiple dates and actually getting to know each other.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) interrupted Sharon and Chance when they were trying to bask in the afterglow, so that set the tone for the business story that’s on the way.
There could be many more interruptions if Chance sticks with Sharon.
Sharon will be working with Adam and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) thanks to Kirsten Incorporated’s new merger with Adustus International.
Between keeping the coffeehouse running and all the corporate drama, Sharon won’t have much time for dating.
In fact, Sharon already had to take a raincheck when Chance suggested lunch in the park after their night together.
It just seems like Sharon is awfully invested in rebooting this company, so Chance may feel like he’s being cast aside as this Y&R storyline moves along.
Some might call it karma since Chance was a workaholic who constantly bailed on Abby for his job at the GCPD.
If Sharon does the same thing to Chance, he may realize exactly why Abby turned to Devon for comfort.
Since Chance has been sharing some bonding scenes with Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier), they’ve got plenty of potential as a new pairing.
If Sharon neglects Chance by concentrating mostly on work, she could push him right into Summer’s arms and perhaps into her bed, too.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon’s job could mean bad news for her love life, so stay tuned to see if Chance will make some updates to his own.
