The Young and the Restless Update: Monday, April 17 – Kyle Warns Chance Stay Away from Summer – Jeremy’s Fatal Exit

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, April 17, teases that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will remain grateful to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) for inviting him to join her next baby appointment.

While Sally and Adam are happily chatting at Crimson Lights, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will show up and glare at them.

The same goes for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), who’ll try to give Adam a reality check once they’re alone.

Victor will think it’s time for Adam to give up on Sally and let go of all the drama she brings to his life.

That’s when Adam will reveal that Sally is pregnant with his baby, so he’ll admit he’s still in love with her and will plan to make his children his priority moving forward.

Once Nick takes Sally back to her suite at the GCAC, she’ll fill him in on her latest Adam invitation.

Sally will acknowledge that Nick probably isn’t going to like this news and will drop the bomb about Adam coming with them to her doctor’s appointment.

After Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) do some strategizing at home, Jack will find Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) at Society and push for updates on Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) murder case.

Since Jack will be struggling to find a good attorney for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), he’ll hope for more info so he can pass it along and secure representation.

Jack will also ask for Christine’s lawyer suggestions, but she won’t be able to get involved in any of this and will bid him goodnight.

Once Jack contacts Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), he’ll push the conflicted attorney to take the case for the sake of Diane as well as his family.

Next on Monday’s Y&R episode, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will visit the jazz lounge, where she’ll run into Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) as he stares at the scene of the crime.

Summer will offer to reenact what happened to Phyllis since she remembers that night in excruciating detail.

Once Summer pushes Chance to concentrate on taking Diane down and not waste time going after Jeremy, he’ll want to take her back to the Abbott house.

However, Kyle will show up and make it clear that Chance has done enough.

Once Kyle berates Chance for putting Diane in jail to suffer, he’ll act like Chance is making Summer believe things that aren’t true about his mother.

“Stay away from my wife or I will find a way to make you pay, detective,” Kyle will declare – though Chance won’t seem fazed at all by the threat.

In Phyllis’ motel room, she’ll insist she can’t get past the regret of what she’s done.

Phyllis won’t want to look in the mirror every day and see Diane, who abandoned Kyle in a world of pain.

Although Phyllis will want to make things right with her own kids, Jeremy won’t think they’d forgive her and will urge her to leave Diane in prison to rot.

Phyllis will pretend to get back on Jeremy’s side, but there’ll be more tension soon after.

Jeremy will reveal that he wants to leave for a tropical island together and have half Phyllis’ money sent to an offshore account there.

After Stark takes another menacing turn, he’ll get possessive and act like Phyllis belongs to him now that she’s his wife.

Phyllis will try to escape, but Jeremy will block her path and assume she’s still planning to reveal she’s alive.

Once Stark tries to attack Phyllis with some scissors in the bathroom, she’ll turn the tables on him.

In the aftermath, Phyllis will make sure Jeremy’s body is wrapped tightly in a sheet and will seem rattled as she wipes his blood off the scissors.

Moments later, a blood-stained Phyllis will struggle to pull Jeremy’s corpse toward the door.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will keep proving she shouldn’t be underestimated, so stay tuned!
