The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, April 24, teases that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will have some relationship guidance for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), who’ll be struggling to get Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) to open up to him.
Billy will push Kyle to fix his marriage while he still can and will urge him not to lose his wife.
Since wounds can become scar tissue if you don’t act quickly enough, Billy will think Kyle has to find a way to get through to Summer.
At the Abbott house, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will lash out at Jack for trying to save Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and once again making it so she doesn’t take responsibility for her actions.
However, Jack will insist Diane is innocent and will stand against Ashley’s accusations about her essentially stealing Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) life.
Since Jack will still plan to marry Diane, Ashley will fume over that news and will warn that the whole Abbott family will be affected.
After Kyle catches Ashley and Jack fighting, he’ll shoot them a dirty look and head upstairs to find Summer, who’ll be holed up in a guest room.
Kyle will make a desperate plea for Summer to open the door as he tries to take Billy’s advice.
Downstairs, Jack and Ashley’s shouting match will press on, especially since Jack will want to bring Diane back into their home once she’s free.
As Ashley’s outrage continues, Jack will act like she needs to move out since this situation is untenable.
Ashley will refuse to give up her birthright and will remind Jack that she belongs there just as much as he does.
If someone’s going to move out, Ashley will think it should be Jack and will suggest getting a place near the prison.
When it comes to Diane, Ashley will spell out what’s going to happen if Jack keeps standing by her.
After Diane is convicted, Ashley will think the Jabot board will vote to remove Jack from his position.
Ashley will contend that Jack will pay a steep price for his jailhouse wedding and lose everything that truly matters to him.
Next on Monday’s Y&R episode, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will tell Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that he wants to do his due diligence and look over the McCall Unlimited contract once more.
Victor will point out that Tucker came to him looking for this sale, but Tucker will promise to sign the documents soon.
After Tucker runs into Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) at the jazz lounge, he’ll ask her to come up to his room at the GCAC.
Tucker will pitch the idea of Audra leaving town with him, but he’ll grow annoyed when she balks at the idea.
Once things take a tense turn, Tucker will urge Audra to go.
Audra will give Tucker an attitude on her way out, so he’ll seem extra lonely as he signs the McCall Unlimited deal in the aftermath.
In Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) suite, he’ll have a nightmare and get some comfort once he awakens next to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Lily will remember how she used to have bad dreams about Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) after his death and times when she thought she saw him on the street.
Daniel will mention that happened to him at the memorial when he saw someone who resembled Phyllis and did a double take.
Of course, Daniel will assume it couldn’t have possibly been his mom and will talk about sinking back to reality.
After Daniel and Lily confirm they don’t regret what happened last night, they’ll head to Society for a meal.
Billy will bump into the pair, so there’ll be some uncomfortable moments before he finds Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) at the coffeehouse.
Nevertheless, Billy will be glad that Lily is moving on, especially since it makes him feel like he’s able to move on, too.
Chelsea will accept Billy’s kiss and mention that Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) is sleeping at the ranch, but she’ll seem nervous about her invitation to come upstairs.
Although Chelsea will feel strong and ready, she’ll acknowledge that she’s out of practice!
Billy will suggest it’s like riding a bicycle and get confirmation that Chelsea’s certain one last time.
Once Chelsea assures Billy that she’s all in, they’ll hit the sheets in a tender moment together.
Back with Lily, she’ll talk to Daniel about being someone who focuses on the future rather than failed relationships.
Lily will think being a cancer survivor made her somebody who’s all about moving forward.
