The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, August 7, indicates that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will play referee for Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) at Society, so they’ll all try to concentrate on the future instead of past mistakes.
In the park, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will blow up at Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) for supporting the idea of Phyllis accepting a plea deal.
Daniel will think Phyllis should face consequences instead of his sister, but Summer will want Daniel to just butt out.
After Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) hears a knock at her door, she’ll open it and find a livid Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
Tucker will fly off the handle over Audra’s incompetence and stupidity, but he’ll also have to wonder if she sabotaged him on purpose.
Audra will be totally lost once Tucker launches this tirade, so he’ll eventually explain the email that slipped through the cracks and gave Adam leverage.
Since Audra tied Tucker to the cover-up of the singer who slept with underaged girls, he’ll order her to fix the mess she made.
Audra will arrive on Adam’s doorstep soon after and seek updates on what he’s after.
Adam will insist he wants Newman Media, so he’ll trust that Audra can use the skills she’s honed to talk Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) into making it part of the merger.
In Phyllis’ suite, Tucker will agree to deliver EMT Carson (Walter Belenky) if Adam proves that he’s gotten rid of the leverage and has no intention of digging up more.
However, Tucker will suggest that Phyllis will have to take care of Carson’s payment.
Phyllis will seem skeptical of Tucker dropping her part in Diane Jenkins-Abbott’s (Susan Walters) takedown, but he’ll act like she wouldn’t have been that useful.
When Summer arrives, alarm bells will go off over Tucker’s presence in Phyllis’ suite.
In private, Summer will try to stop Phyllis from taking a plea deal and will push for total honesty since her mother still hasn’t given her that.
Back at Society, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will make it clear that her loyalty is to Phyllis since that’s her client.
Despite Daniel’s insistence that Phyllis should take the plea deal, Heather won’t believe that’s in her best interest.
Daniel will complain since he’ll feel like Phyllis is going to protect herself over Summer, but Heather won’t think Summer is looking for Daniel’s help here.
Next on Monday’s Y&R episode, Heather will play hardball with Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) and accuse her of behavior that borders on prosecutorial misconduct.
Since Christine used coercion and other less-then-legal tactics, Heather will vow to file a motion with the judge and try to have Christine taken off Phyllis’ case.
At the coffeehouse, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will be delighted when Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) agrees to leave her job at Jabot and come work with her mom instead.
Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will be excited for both Mariah and Sharon since this is such a great opportunity.
Once talk turns to Sharon’s budding romance with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), Mariah and Tessa will think Sharon should be sure she carves out time for it.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon could struggle to balance her work and personal life, so stay tuned to see if that’ll lead to bad news for her romantic future.
