The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, July 24, reveal that Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) and Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will get some surprising news when Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) stop by for a visit.
Since Ashley and Tucker are getting married in just a couple weeks, they’ll let Abby and Devon know their new timeline.
Once Abby gets reassurance that Tucker won’t hurt Ashley again, she’ll insist on hosting the wedding at the Chancellor mansion.
Later, Devon will acknowledge that he’s never discussed marrying Abby before, but she’ll agree that’s a conversation they need to have and will seem interested in taking that step someday.
At Jabot on Monday’s Y&R episode, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will discuss his New York trip, which was illuminating in the worst possible way.
Unfortunately, Jack found out there are some legal workarounds that mean Ashley can walk away with her assets and patents – at least if she can show cause.
Since Ashley’s planning on using Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) history as part of her case, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will once again urge Diane to step down.
However, Jack will refuse to cave in when Ashley’s the one who’s being unreasonable.
At the GCAC, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will threaten to take herself off the case unless Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) tells her what she’s holding back.
Phyllis will admit she’s under Tucker’s thumb since he’s the one who found EMT Carson (Walter Belenky).
Heather will start to worry that Carson’s testimony isn’t legit, but Phyllis will claim that he indeed saw her take down Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) in self-defense.
Phyllis will feel like Tucker needs to be in protective custody since she won’t trust Tucker.
After Tucker catches Phyllis talking to Heather about his involvement in all this, he’ll rush off and seemingly make a bold move.
Once Billy runs into Phyllis and praises Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) for how she’s dealt with all the drama lately, he’ll admit he’s rooting for Phyllis to bounce back.
When Heather returns, she’ll corner Phyllis privately and confess that Carson seems to have vanished!
Once Jack’s home with Diane, he’ll admit Phyllis might get off the hook for her crimes, but he’ll feel like she deserves to pay.
Diane and Jack will think Carson’s surprise decision to come forward seems too convenient – and they won’t buy that Phyllis is genuinely remorseful either.
Later, Ashley will return to the Abbott house and immediately clash with Jack again. That’ll lead to Diane deciding enough is enough, so she’ll announce that she’s done at Jabot.
Jack will protest and decide he’s willing to just surrender to Ashley’s demands, but Diane will refuse to let him as Tucker arrives and gets updates on her decision to resign.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane still has a few tricks up her sleeve, so Ashley and Tucker will face some shockers soon.
