The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, May 1, teases that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will have bedhead and a breakfast tray for Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), but she’ll urge him to get up earlier next time and leave for work in a hurry.
Afterward, Tucker will push Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) buttons now that they’re living under the same roof.
Jack will find it offensive for Ashley to pull a stunt like this while the family’s already dealing with so much drama, but he’ll still be protective of his sister and will put Tucker on notice.
At Jabot, Ashley will think it’s time for a corporate intervention since Jack’s engagement to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is creating a PR disaster. From where Ashley’s standing, they’ll need act fast before Jack tanks the company.
After Ashley suggests calling the board together for a meeting, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will shut down her attempt to stage a coup and will insist Jack’s not being forced out of the CEO position.
Once Ashley mentions that Jack’s been trying to throw her out of the Abbott house, she’ll insist she’s not targeting him for revenge.
That said, Ashley will see how it might look that way since she just asked Tucker to move in with her.
Billy will go on a tirade about how manipulative and untrustworthy Tucker is, but Ashley will think they’re getting off track.
For Ashley, Diane will remain the true villain, so she’ll want to stop the enemy before her influence on Jack goes any further.
Next on Monday’s Y&R episode, Ashley will join Tucker at Society. Tucker will sense that Ashley’s wound up and will offer a distraction since he still has his suite at the GCAC.
Ashley will kiss Tucker so that Jack sees at his own table nearby, so she’ll clearly be trying to get a reaction out of him.
However, it won’t really work since Jack will want to devote all his time and energy to getting Diane off the hook.
Jack will tell Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) that they have to be proactive, so Michael will come up with a couple of ideas.
Michael will admit it could be a challenge to legally subpoena Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) phone records, but he’ll point out that he has some discreet people who could still obtain this info for Jack.
There are also shady ways of obtaining security cam footage to track Jeremy’s movements in his final days.
Jack will think all that sounds great and will hope to get to the bottom of what really went down the night Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) died.
It’s clear that Jack won’t rest until they prove Diane has been framed.
At the coffeehouse, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will burst Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) bubble by revealing Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) lied about flying solo in Los Angeles.
Once Elena gets updates on Nate going with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), she’ll fume over the news of his deception.
Whether Nate slept with Victoria already or if he’s doing it now, Elena will act like the deeper problem is the shattered trust.
Although Elena will act like she was dumb to think things were getting better, Audra will keep the blame on Nate the cheater instead.
Elena wanted to believe the Nate she loved was still in there somewhere, but she’ll act like he turned into some power-hungry individual who betrayed those closest to him without caring about the consequences.
After Elena contemplates her next move for a moment, she’ll remind Audra that she offered to help find J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) and will want to move forward with that plan.
In Los Angeles, it won’t take long for Nate and Victoria’s business strategy session to turn into a steamy hookup in her suite.
Once Nate surrenders to temptation, he’ll hold Victoria in bed and seem like he’s battling guilt over his actions.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Elena will make some decisions that catch Nate off guard in the coming episodes, so stick with Y&R.
