The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, October 23, reveals that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will get some bad news – at least from her perspective. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will confess to blasting Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and then telling him that couldn’t let him go.
Chloe will urge Sally to move past that confession and concentrate on trying to fix things with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), but Sally will worry that it’s too late for that.
At the coffeehouse on Monday’s Y&R episode, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will get updates on Nick’s concerns regarding Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and his potential dementia symptoms.
Although Sharon won’t be able to definitively say what’s wrong, she’ll be willing to have a casual discussion with Victor and report back to Nick with any red flags.
Nick will acknowledge that he’s busy with family turmoil, but he won’t want Sharon thinking that he’s abandoning their business goals.
After Nick makes it clear that he’s still committed and has no intention of going back to Newman Enterprises, Sharon will quiz him about Sally’s venture, too.
Nick will hint that he was tempted to pull the plug, but he’ll suggest that’s more like something Adam would do.
Despite the fact that funding Sally’s design firm is messy, Nick won’t want to yank away his investment just because their romance didn’t work out.
After Sharon holds hands with Nick and comforts him over all the drama he’s dealing with, she’ll convince him to set the record straight with Sally about her venture.
Nick will get Sally on the phone and request a meeting, so she’ll fill Chloe in and seem hopeful about talking through their issues.
At the athletic club, Victor will open up to Adam about Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) scheming with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to help her reclaim the Newman throne.
Victor will gripe about Victoria convincing Nick that he’s losing his mind and get Adam’s confirmation that he’s got his back.
After Adam pledges his loyalty to Victor and shakes on it, he’ll cross paths with Sally.
Although Adam will think they should talk about Sally confessing her true feelings recently, Sally will want to forget all that instead.
Once Sally pushes Adam to leave their relationship in the past, she’ll meet with Nick and realize he doesn’t want to talk about their romance at all.
Sally will assume Nick’s washing his hands of her venture, but Nick will praise her talent and creativity as he confirms he’s still in.
Of course, Nick still won’t be willing to compete with whatever hold Adam still has on Sally, so he’ll push her to figure out what she truly wants or else happiness will never come.
After Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) flatters and impresses Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) at Newman Media again, she’ll offer to lock up for her.
Claire will seem way too interested in the framed family pics on Nikki’s desk – and later, she’ll have all kinds of Newman articles printed out to look through in her suite.
It’ll seem like Claire is totally obsessed with all things Newman.
At Newman Enterprises, Adam will snoop through Victor’s desk and find a sketch of a serpent, so that’ll leave him troubled and curious about what’s really going on with his father.
Once Nikki learns Victor planted the idea of Victoria and Nate undermining him in Adam’s head, he’ll act like Adam was a little too eager to show his loyalty.
Victor will continue to predict that one of his children will make a move very soon.
Nikki will feel certain Adam’s going to be the traitor and will ultimately text Victoria in hopes of having a private ranch meeting.
