The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, October 30, reveals that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will fret over Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) plan to visit Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and uncover his hidden agenda.
However, Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) will feel like Ashley knows Tucker better than anyone else and will understand why Ashley’s determined to pitch in.
When Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) walks in the living room, Jack will try to talk him into accepting the COO position at Jabot. Kyle will refuse to get demoted, so he’ll leave and watch Harrison Abbott (Kelly Enriquez) play soccer in the park later.
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will come along and find out that Kyle turned down Jack’s COO offer.
When Kyle admits Jack’s trying to keep Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) from going off the rails, Audra will seem curious about Billy’s history and what kind of issues he had.
Kyle will hint about Billy’s gambling and drinking, but he won’t want to gossip too much since Billy is still his uncle.
After Kyle mentions Ashley’s homecoming, he’ll note that Ash thinks Audra is using him. Kyle will assure Audra that he doesn’t believe that since this Jabot takeover alliance will benefit him, too.
In Tucker’s suite, he’ll seem suspicious of Ashley’s motives, but she’ll claim she’s there to say sorry and will give him a chance to apologize, too.
Things will get heated as Ashley talks about Tucker being so angry that he terrified her. Tucker won’t be sorry for what he said when she bailed on their new empire, but he’ll be sorry for how he said it.
Tucker will also wonder what steps Ashley’s looking for them to take now, but she won’t be certain. Ashley will just think their first one has to involve both of them taking responsibility.
Once Tucker’s alone, he’ll text Audra to let her know he’s ready to meet with Kyle, so Audra will give Kyle updates. There’ll also be talk about Tucker’s unknown loyalty test, but Audra won’t have any details.
Audra will get Tucker on the phone to give him a heads-up on Ashley’s return, but he’ll suggest she’s too late since he already met with Ashley earlier.
Tucker will plan to tell Audra about that meeting later, but he’ll push her to bring Kyle to his suite in the meantime.
Back at the athletic club on Monday’s Y&R episode, Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) will make another pitch in hopes of getting Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) back at Chancellor-Winters.
Ashley will come along to steal Mamie away for a catch-up session, but Nate will spot a troubling text on Mamie’s phone before she goes. It’ll be from Tucker, who’ll tell Mamie that they need to connect this afternoon.
Afterward, Nate will send a text to Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) since he’ll think they need to have a meeting about Aunt Mamie.
Kyle will ultimately land in Tucker’s suite with Audra, so Tucker will get right down to business. Tucker will wonder why he should trust that Kyle’s really willing to betray his family for more power.
At the Abbott mansion, Diane will push Jack to just get rid of Billy since he could cause trouble at Jabot anyway. Jack will want Kyle back in the family business, but he won’t want to be the reason Billy spins out.
Diane will offer an alternative since Jack could retire from the CEO spot and let Kyle run Jabot with Billy.
Although that’d give Jack more time for traveling and relaxation with Diane, he’ll worry about Kyle and Billy turning on each other if they try to work together. That said, Jack will at least seem willing to think about Diane’s suggestion.
Next, Ashley will come home with Mamie and face Jack’s outburst. Jack will push for info on Ashley’s meeting with Tucker and warn her to drop this plan, but she won’t act like she’s truly going to heed his warning.
