The Young and the Restless Update: Monday, September 11 – Nick's Final Answer - Adam Reveals Masterplan

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) update for Monday, September 11, reveals that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will seem uncertain about whether he buys Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) claims about wanting to change.

Adam will insist he has nothing left to lose and will want to use the humility he’s found to improve himself.

After Adam says he’s willing to start at the bottom and work his way up at Newman, Victor will hope he’s sincere and will plan to contact him again soon.

At Society, Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) business proposal will intrigue Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), but he’ll also fret over how untrustworthy Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is and what could happen if he abandons Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

Sharon won’t think Nick’s sold on returning to Newman Enterprises, so she’ll push him to go with his gut and help her turn Kirsten Incorporated into something good.

See what The Young and the Restless Update for Monday, September 11 has to say.

Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will notice the strong bond between Sharon and Nick as the latter contemplates this partnership.

When Nick insists he needs to think about it, Sally will agree he should take some time.

After Sharon exits, Sally will talk to Nick about him potentially working with his ex.

Once Sally acts like she’s not threatened by the idea, she’ll make it clear that she supports whatever choice Nick makes.

The conversation will take a tense turn when Nick starts ranting about Adam and how maybe the losses he’s faced are the result of karma.

Sally will look livid over Nick implying that Adam deserved to lose Ava Spectra and will basically wonder if he thinks that about her, too.

Of course, Nick will immediately do damage control and try to explain away his comment, but he’ll ultimately change the subject to Sally’s design firm and hope they can move on.

In the park afterward, Nick will recall how proud Victor was when he first came to work at Newman Enterprises.

However, Nick will also remember some warm and fuzzy memories of when he first went into business with Sharon on the coffeehouse.

Adam will find Nick deep in thought and contend that he’s genuinely happy about Nick’s latest co-CEO opportunity.

Nick will get updates on Adam’s pitch to Victor about turning things around, so he’ll feel certain their dad ate that up.

Adam won’t be so sure that Victor believed his desire for redemption, but he’ll hope this can truly be a better path forward.

Nick will confess that he’d like to have a brother he could trust and really talk to, but he’ll obviously keep his guard up since he’s been burned by Adam before.

At the Chancellor mansion on Monday’s Y&R episode, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will fear she screwed up by moving in with Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle) – especially since Aria might already be stressed over her hearing problems.

Sharon will think Aria is doing fine in her new environment and will suspect Mariah’s the one working herself into a tizzy over all the uncertainty.

Thankfully, Sharon will know how to calm Mariah down and will deliver the good news about Victor surrendering Kirsten Incorporated.

After Sharon assures Mariah that Adam is out of the partnership, she’ll hope Nick might still come on board.

In Sally’s suite, she’ll work on some interior design business plans until someone arrives and breaks her concentration.

It’ll be Adam, so Sally will realize he’s the one at the door and will let her hair down before she invites him inside.

After Adam congratulates Sally on her venture moving forward, he’ll promise there’s no need to fret over him.

Adam will feel confident about taking things one step at a time and accomplishing his own plan.

At Newman Enterprises, Nate will seek reassurance from Victoria that their relationship is on solid ground, so she’ll pull him into a passionate kiss to confirm it.

As for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she’ll assume that Nate could be a hindrance when it comes to convincing Nick to come back to the Newman fold.

With that in mind, Nikki will think Nate should step down from his job.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will pump the brakes on that, but Nikki will still think Nate needs to resign on his own and prove he’s sincere about wanting what’s best for the company.

Nate won’t be interested in doing that, especially since they won’t even know what Nick’s decided yet.

Nick will arrive soon after and announce that he’s choosing to help Sharon at Kirsten Incorporated instead of coming back to Newman Enterprises.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that’ll leave the co-CEO seat open, so Victor and Victoria have quite a feud brewing when it comes to how they’ll fill it.
