The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 1, indicates that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will have to decide whether they’re willing to tolerate Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) pick for the head of IT.
Adam gave Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) the job offer without getting Nick and Sharon’s approval first, but Sharon might cut Phyllis a break and push Nick to relent on the idea.
Later, Adam will meet with Phyllis since she’ll need a favor before she can move forward with her employment.
Phyllis will assure Adam that she can do great things for him at the company, but she’ll need to get Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) out of the way first.
When Phyllis updates Adam on her plan to fight back against Tucker, it shouldn’t take him long to support the mission.
Adam isn’t a fan of Tucker, so he may like the sound of finding his weak spot and using it against him.
While Adam and Phyllis iron out the terms of their agreement, Y&R spoilers say Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will take a stand against her mother.
Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will try to get Abby to back her up when it comes to Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) takedown, but Abby won’t be willing to help destroy her uncle.
Abby will likely rant at Ashley over her Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) obsession and insist the real problem is her mom’s refusal to see her hypocritical behavior.
Instead of going after Jabot and trying to ruin Jack’s bliss, Abby will wish Ashley would just focus on her own imminent marriage and whether she can truly trust Tucker.
At the GCAC, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will put on a surprising show for Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) in his suite.
When the nearby fruit bowl fails to inspire Daniel, Lily will strip down to nothing and let Daniel use her body for some new sketches.
This could also lead to Lily and Daniel enjoying some passion in bed together, so their romance will involve plenty of flirty fun on Tuesday’s fantastic episode.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Daniel will have to deal with some troubling Phyllis news in the coming episodes, so this little break with Lily will mean a lot to him.
